( MENAFN - EIN Presswire) How to Get Security Contracts Discover actionable strategies to secure government and private sector security contracts through proven methods and USPA's Certified Contractor Program. NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES, December 26, 2024 /EINPresswire / -- As 2025 approaches, security contractors are exploring how to capitalize on evolving opportunities in government and private sector contracts. With key legislative changes, such as the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) FY24, reshaping the landscape, now is the time to act. USPA, a leader in the security industry , provides the tools, expertise, and financial support that contractors need to succeed. Legislative Updates Pave the Way for Small Business Success The NDAA FY24 introduces significant changes designed to empower small businesses, including those in the security sector. Highlights include enhanced inflation relief measures, faster payment protocols, and expanded small business participation requirements. For service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSBs), participation goals have risen from 3% to 5%, creating more opportunities for firms to win lucrative contracts. However, navigating the government procurement process isn't without challenges. Contractors must adhere to stringent compliance requirements, such as conflict-of-interest certifications, detailed documentation, and adherence to government timelines. For many small firms, the complexity and financial strain of waiting for payment under traditional net terms-often 30, 60, or even 90 days-can make pursuing government contracts seem unattainable. How USPA Helps Contractors Secure Contracts and Maintain Cash Flow This is where USPA steps in to bridge the gap. Through its Certified Contractor Program , USPA takes the risk out of long payment cycles. Unlike traditional contracts, where payment delays can cripple cash flow, USPA ensures its partners are paid weekly. In fact, payments are processed just one day after invoices are submitted. This rapid turnaround gives smaller firms the financial stability they need to grow and invest in their operations. “USPA's Certified Contractor Program has been empowering security contractors for 20 years,” said Michael Evans, Founder of USPA.“We understand the challenges small businesses face, and we're here to provide the financial and operational support they need to thrive in this competitive industry.” Balancing Government and Private Sector Contracts While government contracts offer stability and long-term opportunities, private sector contracts provide flexibility and faster execution. USPA helps contractors navigate both spaces by offering guidance on compliance, technology integration, and proposal development. By partnering with USPA, firms can pursue both government and private contracts confidently, knowing their cash flow and operational needs are secure. Strategies for Securing Contracts in 2025 USPA's Certified Contractor Program also provides actionable strategies for landing contracts, including: - Understanding key provisions of the NDAA FY24, such as inflation relief and small business requirements. - Leveraging technology to offer innovative security solutions. - Building strong proposals that highlight past performance and compliance with government standards. - Networking with prime contractors to gain subcontracting opportunities. Your Next Step to Success For contractors wondering how to get security contracts in 2025 , USPA offers a proven path to success. By addressing financial challenges and providing expert guidance, USPA empowers its partners to compete effectively in both government and private markets. Jordan Love has been a mediocre Fantasy quarterback this season, especially lately. But he could go off at Minnesota in Week 17 in a potential shootout. Love has scored 18.7 Fantasy points or less in three of his past five games. And even in his good games over that span, he's scored 22.9 and 21.6 Fantasy points. It's not that Love isn't capable of a big performance. The Packers have just become a dominant running team, and Love has attempted 28 passes or less in six games in a row. But he might have to air it out this week against the Vikings , who are No. 2 in fewest rushing yards allowed in the NFL . This doesn't mean to sit Josh Jacobs , but this could become a passing game for Green Bay and Love. And Love scored 36.2 Fantasy points against Minnesota in Week 4 when he attempted 54 passes, completing 32 for 389 yards, four touchdowns, and three interceptions. It won't be easy since the Vikings are No. 9 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. But Geno Smith just scored 27.4 Fantasy points against Minnesota in Week 16, and I would trust Love if I knew he would be throwing a lot. Keep an eye on Christian Watson (knee), who could be out in Week 17. But if Love gives Jayden Reed , Romeo Doubs , Dontayvion Wicks , Tucker Kraft , and Jacobs enough chances to make plays in the passing game, then we could get a fun game with major playoff implications. I'm excited to see what Love can do -- if he's allowed to throw. I consider him a low-end starting option in all leagues.YOUNGLIMWON SOFTLAB To Showcase Low-Code Application Development Platform Flextudio At CES 2025Keen NBL observers might have noticed that the usually boisterous Justin Tatum was quieter than usual, pacing the sidelines during the Illawarra Hawks win over the Perth Wildcats in Wollongong. Login or signup to continue reading The Hawks head coach joked afterwards he was on his best behaviour as his parents and daughter were courtside watching Sunday's game at WIN Entertainment Centre. They had arrived in the country to spend the Christmas holidays with Tatum. Not that the Hawks coach will have much time off, considering his team plays the Sydney Kings on Christmas Day. Two days later, they head to Brisbane to take on the Bullets before returning to Wollongong for a New Year's Eve showdown against the South East Melbourne Phoenix. Despite the gruelling schedule, Tatum was happy to have his family with him during the festive period. "They got here Saturday. I was very excited for them to be there, and my daughter gave me a high-five. She pays attention to the game as much as she can," he said. "It's good to have family here, go home, and be able to talk to somebody. "I was on my best behaviour. Mom and Dad were in town, so I behaved best. "I might have little pictures of them on the seats, so they remind me to be good when they leave. "It was good to have them there." He was also happy they saw him enjoying success as a coach. Tatum originally joined the Hawks at the start of the NBL24 season as an assistant to then-coach Jacob Jackomas. He became interim head coach after Jackomas was sacked after struggling to a 2-7 win/loss record. Tatum guided Illawarra to one win short of a grand final appearance after the Hawks were beaten by Melbourne United 2-1 in a seesawing semifinal series. The Hawks then locked in Tatum as permanent head coach on a three-year deal. The move has paid immediate dividends, with the ladder-leading Hawks considered NBL25 championship favourites. Tatum said he was happy his family saw how good the Hawks were. "It's cool, mostly for my 10-year-old daughter, to show her that you can achieve anything you want, as long as you put your mind to do it," he said. "Her coming across the world and seeing her dad having some impact on the team, the city, and the country in general means a lot to me. "My mom and dad are just proud of me no matter what, but it's just building confidence in her to let her know, 'Hey, whatever you want to achieve, whatever you want to do, believe in that because dad is doing his best to give you that confidence'." Trump serious on Greenland, Panama Canal acquisition plans

LONGBOAT KEY, Fla., Nov. 27, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Rumble RUM , the video-sharing platform and cloud services provider, today sued the California Attorney General and Secretary of State over a recently passed law that unconstitutionally punishes certain political speech. Rumble is represented by Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), a non-profit law firm that defends the right to speak freely and which also represents the satirical website "The Babylon Bee" in a related lawsuit. The suit was filed in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California, Sacramento Division. The law at issue, AB 2655, requires online platforms to receive reports about posts related to elections, public officials, and candidates for office that are deemed "materially deceptive" and then remove or label the content. The law was fast-tracked in July when California Gov. Gavin Newsom complained that an online video satirizing the Democratic candidate for president, Kamala Harris, ought to be "illegal." The state legislature responded by passing a package of bills, which Newsom signed. He subsequently celebrated that he had successfully banned the video that had offended him in the first place. "The very thought of the government judging the content of political speech, and then deciding whether it should be permitted, censored, or eliminated altogether is about the most chilling thing you could imagine," said Chris Pavlovski, Chairman and CEO of Rumble. "Rumble will always celebrate freedom and support creative independence, so we're delighted to work with ADF to help protect lawful online expression." ABOUT RUMBLE Rumble is a high-growth video platform and cloud services provider that is creating an independent infrastructure. OTTAWA — The RCMP will create a new aerial intelligence task force to provide round-the-clock surveillance of Canada's border using helicopters, drones and surveillance towers. The move is part of the federal government's $1.3-billion upgrade to border security and monitoring to appease concerns of U.S. president-elect Donald Trump about the flow of migrants and illegal drugs. Trump has threatened to impose a 25 per cent tariff on all Canadian and Mexican exports to the U.S. as soon as he is inaugurated next month unless both countries move to improve border security. Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc says he has discussed parts of the plan with American officials and that he is optimistic about its reception. Canada will also propose to the United States to create a North American "joint strike force" to target organized crime groups that work across borders. The government also intends to provide new technology, tools and resources to the Canada Border Services Agency to seek out fentanyl using chemical detection, artificial intelligence and canine teams.
