The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will bring a new series to Netflix in December, revealing the “grit behind the glamour” in the high-stakes world of polo. The five-part series will debut globally on December 10, following elite global players on and off the field as they compete in the US Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida. A trailer for the series titled Polo, executive produced by Harry and Meghan, was released on Thursday, giving a behind-the-scenes look at the “fast-paced and glamorous world of polo”. In a statement, Harry said: “This series offers audiences an unprecedented, behind-the-scenes look into the passion and determination driving some of the world’s elite polo players, revealing the grit behind the glamour. “We’re proud to showcase the true depth and spirit of the sport — and the intensity of its high-stakes moments.” It has been produced by the Sussexes’ Archewell Productions, having previously released three documentaries with Netflix as part of a multimillion-pound deal with the streaming giant. Heart Of Invictus, which aired last August, followed a group of service members on their road to the Invictus Games, the Paralympic-style sporting competition set up by Harry in 2014 for injured and sick military personnel and veterans. Netflix also released the documentary series Live To Lead and the controversial six-part Harry & Meghan documentary in December 2022. Harry and Meghan moved to the US in 2020 after stepping down from royal duties. The standard Lorem Ipsum passage, used since the 1500s "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. GK Barry's I'm A Celebrity exit causes ITV result row after double eliminationTHE Marcos-Romualdez regime's all-out persecution of former president Rodrigo Duterte and his daughter, Sara, to ensure that their clan maintains power after 2028 has been an abject failure. It has also backfired, turning Duterte and his daughter into folk heroes. Only analysts living in ivory towers, columnists seeking a post in this administration, or the outrightly clueless writers would have the temerity — or imagination — to claim that the Dutertes are "fallen idols." I'll enumerate the qualities of a folk hero scholars generally agree on to show that the Dutertes are the country's folk heroes, our first since perhaps President Ramon Magsaysay of the 1950s. More info Join us on WhatsApp The 14th of February is a day that many of us celebrate our love for our partners, but for ice skating legends Torvill and Dean, it is known as Bolero Day as it was the date in 1984 that they won gold in the Winter Olympics in Sarajevo. On the 40th anniversary of that moment, they announced that they would be retiring from performing next year and embarking on a tour celebrating their 50-year skating partnership and the iconic moments that have earned them the title of the world's greatest ice skating duo. Ahead of their tour coming to Belfast for three performances in April, the duo stopped by the SSE Arena to chat to Belfast Live and put our political reporter on thin ice - literally. " When you say 50 years, gosh, that's a long time, but also you go, that was 50 years, just like that," Christopher Dean said. " I think we're ready to do our last tour. I think whilst we can still feel fit and we can still skate in a way that we want to be able to see, I think this final tour is the right time for us." This isn't the first time that the skating duo have called it quits as back in 1998, the pair decided to hang up their skates and Christopher moved to the US and Jayne focused on her family. However, back in 2006, the pair reunited as Dancing on Ice hit our screens on ITV which would eventually lead them to perform once again. Our Political Reporter swapped Stormont for Ice Skates as he joined Torvill and Dean for an ice skating lesson (Image: Justin Kernoghan/Belfast Live) "In '98, we decided that that's when we were going to quietly retire, and we both had other things and so on," Jayne Torvill said. " But then we got this phone call asking if they thought we could teach celebrities to skate, and we said no, no, no. "When we first started the series, we were choreographing all the routines and then one of our producers said, Would you mind demonstrating some of the moves on camera? And we said, no, that's fine. They said, could you demonstrate them to the music? And we were like, well, that's like a routine. And she went, yeah. And so we ended up performing again, but once we started it, we just enjoyed it so much." Despite a few slips, James was just about still standing! (Image: Justin Kernoghan/Belfast Live) The pair told us that they credit the show for keeping them fit and said that their upcoming tour will be "nostalgic". " We're going to take everybody back to the beginning where we started, and then we're going to go through some of our iconic pieces up to today," Christopher added. " But we have 15 other world professional skaters that are going to be accompanying us and helping tell that story. " We've got big multimedia screens, really talented skaters, and so I think it's going to be an inspirational night and it's going to be a celebration at the same time." Torvill and Dean will be back on UTV every Sunday night in early 2025, as Head Judges on the 17th series of Dancing on Ice. but as for our political reporter, he is probably better suited to Strictly Come Dancing. CINCINNATI -- The finally leaned on their running game and it paid off with their first touchdown drive of the game against the Bengals. After wrestling with their own offensive rhythm well into the third quarter, the Broncos ran eight times for 47 yards in a 12-play, 70-yard scoring drive in the third quarter -- exactly half of their rushing yards at that point in the game. They finished it off with a 6-yard toss from to in the back right corner of the end zone. It tied the game at 10-10 with 3:10 left in the third quarter. It was Sutton's seventh touchdown reception of the season and gave him 941 yards receiving as he searches for his second career 1,000-yard campaign. The Broncos' passing game had struggled to that point, as Nix was 13-of-16 passing for 91 yards and the score.Cowboys star G Zack Martin doubtful to play vs. CommandersN.J. Beck, a fifth-year senior, made his NFL plans official on social media. Beck suffered a right elbow injury in the first half of the Bulldogs’ 22-19 overtime win over Texas in the Southeastern Conference championship game on Dec. 7 in Atlanta. Beck had surgery on Monday to repair his ulnar collateral ligament in the elbow. The procedure was performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache in Los Angeles. Beck is expected to begin throwing next spring. He could have returned for a sixth season but instead will enter the NFL draft. Beck posted on Instagram: “The past five years at the University of Georgia have been nothing short of a dream come true and I will forever cherish the memories that have been made.” Gunner Stockton, who took over for Beck in the second half against Texas, will start for Georgia on Wednesday in the Sugar Bowl against Notre Dame in the College Football Playoff quarterfinals. Beck has started every game of the 2023 and 2024 seasons. He was 24-3 as a starter. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez denounced House Republicans’ efforts this week to ban trans people from using single-sex bathrooms in the U.S. Capitol building reserved for “ individuals of that biological sex ,” just weeks after the election of the first transgender member of Congress, Sarah McBride of Delaware. In a video interview with Spectrum News on Wednesday, the New York progressive, known as AOC, described the policy as “disgusting.” “If a woman doesn’t look woman enough to a Republican, they want to be able to inspect her genitals to use a bathroom?” asked Ocasio-Cortez. “No matter how you may feel about this issue, [you] should reject it completely.” “ Women deserve women’s only spaces ,” House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-Louisiana, said in a statement to Reuters. He said members could use bathrooms in their private offices, which can be a 10-minute walk from the House floor where voting and debate take place, or unisex bathrooms in the Capitol. McBride said she would comply with Johnson’s order but called it a distraction from more substantive issues. “I’m not here to fight about bathrooms. I’m here to fight for all Delawareans and to bring down costs facing families,” she said. Sign-up for Your Vote: Text with the USA TODAY elections team. The issue became a flashpoint after Republican Rep. Nancy Mace filed a resolution to impose that requirement, which targets the incoming lawmaker. The South Carolina conservative posted a flurry of messages on social media saying she doesn’t “want penises in women’s spaces." She has even launched a T-shirt on the issue of bathrooms, saying proceeds will “ fuel the fight to protect women and girls across America.” In a searing review of Republican men, Ocasio-Cortez rejected the argument that transgender women using women’s restrooms poses a safety risk to women. “Women know that men don’t scheme to ‘dress like girls’ to assault them,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote on X . “They do it every day in broad daylight. And the ones in power protect each other to keep it quiet. Just ask the House Ethics Committee. Or the President-elect of the United States.” Transgender rights have become a political rallying cry for right-wing politicians in the U.S. Lawmakers in 37 states introduced at least 142 bills to restrict gender-affirming healthcare for transgender and gender-expansive people in 2023, Reuters reported , nearly three times as many as the previous year. Meghalaya Government Unveils Plan for 5,000 Smart Classrooms and QR Code TextbooksStriking a rare conciliatory tone, senior PML-N leader and PM's Adviser on Political Affair Rana Sanaullah on Saturday called on the top political leaders of the country - PML-N's Nawaz Sharif, PPP's Asif Ali Zardari and PTI's Imran Khan - to sit together to steer the country out of its current crises. Sana was one of the speakers at an event organised in Lahore to commemorate slain politician Khawaja Muhammad Rafique, the father of PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique. At the event that took place amid the ongoing dialogue between the ruling PML-N and the PTI, the speakers recognised the urgency of the political dialogue while voicing their cautious support for committee level engagement between the two political rivals. The former interior minister noted that according to his understanding if the dialogue is to move forward it must include the three big names of the political arena, Nawaz, Zardari and Imran. "The committees won't be able to move forward without taking their respective leaderships into confidence [so why not include the leaders in the consultation process]," he said. According to Sanaullah, the PTI demands of the PML-N to give up its government formed on the basis of rigged elections but the question is as to why the PTI did not give up their mandate when they were accused of the same crime. While stating that his party wants the negotiation to succeed, Sana expressed some astonishment at the sudden change of heart at the PTI which till November 26 was staging a protest march in Islamabad to pressure the government into accepting its demands. Addressing the event, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif claimed that he was never consulted on the question of engaging with the PTI as he cautioned his fellow leaders to remain on guard and to not to trust PTI founder Imran Khan, who, he said, is "eternally unfaithful". Asif who was the closing speaker of the ceremony said he does not buy the idea of the PTI opening up to the dialogue process all of sudden. He asked as to what changed in the last fifteen days that the PTI went from all guns blazing to pushing for negotiation. Just fifteen days back, they were bashing the government, and all of sudden they formed a committee unilaterally and knocked the NA speaker's door, he said. "The PTI cannot be trusted. The PML-N is all for dialogue as we believe dialogue is the only way forward but it was difficult to buy the sudden change of heart in the PTI camp. Imran Khan is an unfaithful person, who has even betrayed his benefactors," he added. On a lighter vein, he complained that he was not even consulted before the PML-N formed a committee to hold talks with the PTI, apparently referring to his opposing stance on the issue, saying that "they didn't even let me near this discussion". He said the government's sincerity is unquestionable as it is entering in this dialogue from a position of power whereas the other side is beset with problems. "Their intention has to be seen with some skepticism," he said. Khawaja Asif claimed that in Pakistan only three leaders sought western supporttwo of them, General Ziaul Haq and General Pervez Musharraf, were military dictators while Imran is the only political leader to do so. "The country is facing consequences of this tendency to seek western support." He said the Jihad call in Afghanistan was all made up by a dictator to accentuate his rule in the country. "A person who seeks help from the power [apparently USA] that is responsible for the death of fifty thousand Palestinian and devastation of five Muslim countries has no morals. Imran Khan is their stooge," he alleged. Asif stated that all power centers should be included in the dialogue process. He claimed that all political parties have used the crutches of the establishment at some stage. Bashing the judiciary, he said people should thank lord that Pakistan has survived for 75 years with this kind of judiciary. He said the adage that people should engage judges not lawyers is correct. National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq said his office has a limited role in the dialogue process. "I appreciate the government for agreeing to the dialogue process. This dialogue process should also include a charter of economy," he said. Bashing PTI supporters residing the west, he said that those who could not say a word regarding Genocide in Gaza or occupation of Kashmir are working against the country's interest. ST. PAUL — Former Minnesota Senate Majority Leader Kari Dziedzic died Friday following a battle with cancer. She was 62. Her family said she died surrounded by loved ones. “She had a heart of gold, willing to go to any measure to help those she loved,” they said in a statement. ADVERTISEMENT Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party Chair Ken Martin the Minneapolis Democrat was committed to working for Minnesotans. She served in the Minnesota Senate for more than a decade. “It is impossible to overstate the positive impact that Senator Dziedzic’s leadership has had on our state,” Martin said in a statement. “She devoted her life to making her fellow Minnesotans’ lives better, and she refused to allow cancer to get in her way. Minnesota has lost a giant, but her extraordinary legacy will outlast us all.” Dziedzic was instrumental in holding together the Senate DFL caucus in 2023 as they passed, with a one-vote majority, a variety of Democratic priorities like funding universal school meals for students, approving a paid family and medical leave program, cementing legal protections for abortion and gender-affirming care and legalizing cannabis for recreational use. She was respected on both sides of the political aisle and her demeanor was always steady, even amid tense times in the Senate. Dziedzic’s laid-back style made her a surprising pick for majority leader after the 2022 election. Leaders from both major political parties said they were heartbroken by her death. “Senator Kari Dziedzic was a passionate legislator, a respected leader, and a trusted colleague and friend. She will be remembered for her integrity and her compassion for Minnesotans, something that we all saw as she continued to serve even as she battled cancer,” said Senate Minority Leader Mark Johnson, an East Grand Forks Republican. “I’m deeply saddened at her passing and am praying for her family and friends as we all mourn this loss.” House Speaker Melissa Hortman, DFL-Brooklyn Park, said she was “one of the most skilled diplomats ever to serve in elected office.” ADVERTISEMENT “Her legacy includes significant achievements in policy and investment in Minnesota, but more importantly she will be remembered for treating people with dignity and respect and never giving up on finding workable compromises,” Hortman said. “She had an incredible ability to work diligently through the most arcane and difficult policy issues to find resolution.” Senate Majority Leader Erin Murphy, DFL-St. Paul, agreed, saying she was “an uncommon leader.” “Her talents as a consequential and thoughtful leader made us all better legislators, and her examples of kindness humor, and selflessness made us all better people,” Murphy said. Former Senate DFL Leader Melisa López Franzen praised Dziedzic as a hard worker. “The last time I spoke to Kari a few weeks ago she was still serving her constituents,” she wrote on social media. “That’s Senator Dziedzic, the hardest working legislator I have ever had the honor to serve with. Rest in peace my friend.” Dziedzic was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2023 and underwent emergency surgery to limit its spread. She stepped down from her leadership position in February after her cancer recurred. The Senate will now stand in a 33-33 tie between Democrats and Republicans heading into the 2025 legislative session. Gov. Tim Walz has not yet said when he might call for a special election in the Minneapolis district. ADVERTISEMENT Dziedzic had a degree in engineering but couldn’t resist the family pull into public service. Her father, Walt, was a colorful Minneapolis city council member who later served on the park board. Dziedzic told MPR News that she felt drawn into politics after watching her father’s example. “I knew the long hours. I knew the phone calls at home. I knew what I was walking into,” she said. “But I also knew the opportunity that you have to help other people. And it’s about helping people and making your community better.” Dziedzic began a career in public service as a campaign volunteer and later moved on to become a scheduling aide for former U.S. Sen. Paul Wellstone. After a stint working for a Hennepin County commissioner, she was nudged to run for a state Senate seat when longtime lawmaker Larry Pogemiller stepped down to take another government job. Gov. Tim Walz called Dziedzic a “one-of-a-kind leader.” He added, “Her legacy should inspire all of us in elected office to be better public servants.” Details for a memorial service have not yet been announced. ______________________________________________________ This story was written by one of our partner news agencies. The 26-year-old man charged in last week’s killing of UnitedHealthcare’s CEO appeared in a Pennsylvania courtroom on Tuesday, where he was denied bail and his lawyer said he'd fight extradition to New York City, where the attack happened. Luigi Nicholas Mangione was arrested Monday in last Wednesday's attack on Brian Thompson after they say a worker at a McDonald’s in Altoona, Pennsylvania, alerted authorities to a customer who resembled the suspected gunman. When arrested, Mangione had on him a gun that investigators believe was used in the attack and writings expressing anger at corporate America, police said. As Mangione arrived at the courthouse Tuesday, he struggled with officers and shouted something that was partly unintelligible but referred to an “insult to the intelligence of the American people.” Mangione is being held on Pennsylvania charges of possession of an unlicensed firearm, forgery and providing false identification to police. Manhattan prosecutors have charged him with five counts, including murder, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a forged instrument. Here are some of the latest developments: Wearing an orange jumpsuit, Mangione mostly stared straight ahead during the hearing, occasionally consulting papers, rocking in his chair, or looking back at the gallery. At one point, he began to speak to respond to the court discussion but was quieted by his lawyer. Judge David Consiglio denied bail to Mangione, whose attorney, Thomas Dickey, told the court that his client did not agree to extradition and wants a hearing on the matter. Blair County (Pennsylvania) District Attorney Peter Weeks said that although Mangione's fighting extradition will create “extra hoops” for law enforcement to jump through, it won’t be a substantial barrier to sending him to New York. In addition to a three-page, handwritten document that suggests he harbored “ill will toward corporate America,” NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said Monday that Mangione also had a ghost gun, a type of weapon that can be assembled at home and is difficult to trace. Officers questioned Mangione, who was acting suspiciously and carrying multiple fraudulent IDs, as well as a U.S. passport, New York Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch said. Officers also found a sound suppressor, or silencer, “consistent with the weapon used in the murder,” she said. He had clothing and a mask similar to those worn by the shooter and a fraudulent New Jersey ID matching one the suspect used to check into a New York City hostel before the shooting, the commissioner said. Kenny said Mangione was born and raised in Maryland, has ties to San Francisco and that his last known address is in Honolulu. Mangione, who was valedictorian of his Maryland prep school, earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in computer science in 2020 from the University of Pennsylvania, a university spokesman told The Associated Press on Monday. Mangione comes from a prominent Maryland family. His grandfather Nick Mangione, who died in 2008, was a successful real estate developer. One of his best-known projects was Turf Valley Resort, a sprawling luxury retreat and conference center outside Baltimore that he purchased in 1978. Mangione likely was motivated by his anger with what he called “parasitic” health insurance companies and a disdain with corporate greed, said a law enforcement bulletin obtained by The Associated Press. He wrote that the U.S. has the most expensive healthcare system in the world and that the profits of major corporations continue to rise while “our life expectancy” does not, according to the bulletin, which was based on a review of the suspect’s hand-written notes and social media postings. The defendant appeared to view the targeted killing of the UnitedHealthcare CEO as a symbolic takedown and may have been inspired by “Unabomber” Ted Kaczynski, whom he called a “political revolutionary,” the document said. Police said the person who killed Thompson left a hostel on Manhattan's Upper West Side at 5:41 a.m. on Wednesday. Eleven minutes later, he was seen on surveillance video walking back and forth in front of the New York Hilton Midtown, wearing a distinctive backpack. At 6:44 a.m., he shot Thompson at a side entrance to the hotel, fled on foot, then climbed aboard a bicycle and within four minutes had entered Central Park, according to police. Another security camera recorded the gunman leaving the park near the American Museum of Natural History at 6:56 a.m. still on the bicycle but without the backpack, police said. After getting in a taxi, he headed north to a bus terminal near the George Washington Bridge, arriving at around 7:30 a.m. From there, the trail of video evidence runs cold. Police have not located video of the suspect exiting the building, leading them to believe he likely took a bus out of town. Police said they are still investigating the path the suspect took to Pennsylvania. “This just happened this morning," Kenny said. "We’ll be working, backtracking his steps from New York to Altoona, Pennsylvania,” Kenny said. Associated Press reporters Lea Skene, Matt O'Brien, Sean Murphy and Cedar Attanasio contributed to this report.

By Burnett Munthali, Maravi Post In a time when transparency and accountability are critical for public trust, the silence of the Minister of Agriculture, Honorable Sam Kawale, regarding a pressing questionnaire on the controversial East Bridge Estates fertilizer deal raises serious concerns. The questionnaire, delivered to the minister on November 2, 2024, at 17:13 hours, remains unanswered as of December 28, 2024, when this article went to press. Despite the message being read, as indicated by blue ticks on WhatsApp, Honorable Kawale has not provided any responses to the questions, leaving key issues shrouded in mystery. The fertilizer deal involving East Bridge Estates has drawn widespread criticism for its lack of transparency. Reports suggest a significant markup of K500,000 per ton, raising questions about profiteering at the expense of public funds. Moreover, the alleged involvement of fugitive Paul Mphwiyo in the company has further fueled concerns about ethical lapses in the procurement process. The questionnaire sought to address these allegations and provide clarity on the government’s decision-making process. However, the minister’s prolonged silence suggests a reluctance to engage with these critical issues. The questions served to Honorable Kawale included: 1) Selection Process: How was East Bridge Estates chosen as a fertilizer supplier, and what qualifications did they present? 2) Paul Mphwiyo’s Involvement: Why was a company linked to a fugitive engaged by the ministry? 3) Pricing Concerns: Is the K500,000 per ton markup justifiable during an economic crisis? 4) Sovereign Guarantees: What is the current status of guarantees for East Bridge Estates, and why are there discrepancies in government announcements? 5) Accountability Measures: What steps is the ministry taking to improve oversight and prevent political interference in procurement? 6) Public Trust: How does the ministry plan to address concerns about sidelining taxpayer needs for private profit? These questions were designed to shed light on the deal’s transparency and ethical considerations. Unfortunately, the minister’s refusal to engage undermines efforts to address public concerns. Honorable Kawale’s lack of response not only deepens suspicion about the fertilizer deal but also raises broader questions about the government’s commitment to accountability. At a time when Malawi faces severe economic challenges, public trust in government institutions is paramount. The minister’s silence risks further eroding this trust. Calls for Accountability Civil society organizations, opposition leaders, and the public have urged the government to address the allegations surrounding the East Bridge Estates deal. The continued silence from Honorable Kawale only adds to the perception of a lack of transparency in government procurement processes. Conclusion The unanswered questionnaire remains a stark reminder of the challenges Malawi faces in achieving transparency and accountability in governance. Honorable Kawale’s failure to respond is not just a missed opportunity to clarify the ministry’s position but also a disservice to the Malawian people who deserve answers. The Maravi Post will continue to follow this story and advocate for accountability, ensuring that the voices of concerned citizens are heard. The public deserves leadership that prioritizes transparency and acts in the best interests of the nation. Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment. (AP) — Austin Seibert missed his second extra point of the game with 21 seconds left after Jayden Daniels and Terry McLaurin connected on an 86-yard touchdown, Juanyeh Thomas returned the ensuing onside kick attempt for a touchdown and the Dallas Cowboys pulled out a 34-26 victory Sunday that extended the Washington Commanders’ skid to three games. Seibert, who missed the previous two games with a right hip injury, was wide left on the point-after attempt following a low snap. Thomas then took the kick back 43 yards as the Cowboys (4-7) ended their losing streak at five in improbable fashion. Part of that was the play of backup Cooper Rush, who threw for 247 yards and two TDs in his third start in place of starter Dak Prescott. Part was also the defense forcing two turnovers, as Chauncey Golston ripped the ball out of Brian Robinson Jr.’s hands for what was called an interception of Daniels in the second quarter, and Donovan Wilson stripped John Bates midway through the fourth. KaVonte Turpin provided the fireworks with a spinning, 99-yard kickoff return TD seconds after Daniels found Zach Ertz in the end zone and scored on a 2-point conversion to cut the deficit to three with 3:02 left. In the final three minutes alone, the Commanders (7-5) scored 10 points and allowed Thomas’ TD. All that after the score was 10-9 through three quarters before madness ensued. (AP) — Patrick Mahomes threw for 269 yards and three touchdowns , Spencer Shrader kicked a 31-yard field goal as time expired and Kansas City beat Carolina to reach double-digit wins for the 10th straight season. Noah Gray caught two TD passes as the Chiefs (10-1) bounced back from last week’s 30-21 loss at Buffalo and won at the buzzer yet again in a season of narrow escapes. DeAndre Hopkins also had a touchdown catch for the two-time defending Super Bowl champions, who scored on their first five possessions. Bryce Young finished 21 of 35 for 262 yards and a touchdown for the Panthers (3-8), who had their two-game winning streak snapped. David Moore had six receptions for 80 yards and a touchdown. Trailing 27-19, Young completed a fourth-down pass to Adam Thielen to move the chains, then went deep for the veteran receiver, who drew a pass-interference penalty on Chamarri Conner. That set up a 1-yard touchdown run by Chuba Hubbard. LIONS 24, COLTS 6 INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Jahmyr Gibbs rushed for two scores and David Montgomery added a third touchdown run, leading Detroit to a victory over Indianapolis. Gibbs finished with 21 carries for 90 yards as the Lions (10-1) extended their league-high winning streak to nine straight. Detroit has its been 11-game record since the franchise’s inaugural season in 1934. Jared Goff continued his sensational season, too, completing 26 of 36 throws for 269 yards. The Colts (5-7) lost their second straight home game and for the fourth time in their past five games. Anthony Richardson was 11 of 28 with 172 yards while rushing 10 times for 61 yards. While Indy managed to hold the NFL’s highest-scoring offense largely in check Sunday, it was doomed by its inability to finish drives with touchdowns. BUCCANEERS 30, GIANTS 7 EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — Baker Mayfield catapulted into the end zone on a spectacular 10-yard scramble for one of Tampa Bay’s four rushing touchdowns, and the Buccaneers beat the Giants and new starting quarterback Tommy DeVito, snapping a four-game losing streak and extending New York’s skid to six. The Giants’ decisions this week to bench and then release quarterback Daniel Jones did nothing to help the NFL’s lowest-scoring offense. DeVito threw for 189 yards, mostly in the second half with New York well on its way to its sixth straight loss at home, where it is winless. Meanwhile, the Buccaneers dominated in every phase in a near-perfect perfect performance that featured TD runs of 1 yard by Sean Tucker, 6 yards by Bucky Irving and 1 yard by Rachaad White. After recent losses to the Ravens, 49ers and Chiefs, Tampa Bay (5-6) moved within one game of idle Atlanta in the NFC South. Tampa Bay scored on five of its on first six possessions to open a 30-0 lead, and none was more exciting than Mayfield’s TD run with 12 seconds left in the first half. On a second-and-goal from the 10, he avoided pressure and went for the end zone. He was hit by Cor’Dale Flott low and Dru Phillips high around the 2-yard line, and he was airborne when he crossed the goal line. The ball came loose when he hit the turf but he jumped up and flexed — seemingly mocking DeVito’s go-to celebration — as the Bucs took a 23-0 lead. DOLPHINS 34, PATRIOTS 15 MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (AP) — Tua Tagovailoa threw for 317 yards and four touchdowns, including two scores to running back De’Von Achane, and Miami routed New England. The Dolphins (5-6) have a thin margin for error the rest of the season but have kept themselves afloat with a three-game winning streak. With their win at New England (3-9) in Week 5, the Dolphins have swept their division rivals in consecutive seasons for the first time since 1999-2000. Tagovailoa, who moved to 7-0 in his career against New England, entered the game with a league-high 73.4% completion rate and went 29 for 40. Backup Skylar Thompson replaced Tagovailoa with about 11 minutes left in what was already a blowout, but a bad handoff on his first play resulted in a fumble that was recovered by cornerback Christian Gonzalez and returned 63 yards for a touchdown. It cut New England’s deficit to 31-15, and Tagovailoa returned the next drive. TITANS 32, TEXANS 27 HOUSTON (AP) — Will Levis threw for 278 yards and his 70-yard touchdown pass to Chig Okonkwo put Tennessee on top in the fourth quarter and the Titans held on for a win over the Texans. Okonkwo grabbed a short pass and rumbled for the touchdown to put the Titans (3-8) up 30-27 with 9 1/2 minutes remaining. Safety Eric Murray missed a tackle that would have stopped him near midfield. The Texans (7-5) had a chance to tie it with less than two minutes remaining, but Ka’imi Fairbairn’s 28-yard field-goal attempt sailed wide left. He fell to the ground after the miss before getting up and slamming his helmet on the field. Titans coach Brian Callahan held both hands in the air and smiled after watching the miss that allowed his team to win on a day it had three turnovers. The Texans forced a three-and-out, but couldn’t move the ball after that and Harold Landry sacked C.J. Stroud in the end zone for a safety to make it 32-27 and allow Tennessee to snap a two-game skid. VIKINGS 30, BEARS 27, OT CHICAGO (AP) — Sam Darnold threw for 90 of his 330 yards in overtime to set up Parker Romo’s game-ending 29-yard field goal , and Minnesota outlasted Chicago after giving up 11 points in the final 22 seconds of regulation. Darnold threw two touchdown passes, Jordan Addison caught eight passes for a career-high 162 yards and a touchdown, and T.J. Hockenson had 114 yards receiving for the Vikings (9-2), who remained one game behind Detroit in the rugged NFC North. Caleb Williams threw for 340 yards and two touchdowns for the Bears (4-7), who lost their fifth straight. Minnesota appeared to have the game in hand, leading 27-16 with 1:56 left after Romo kicked a 26-yard field goal. But the Bears weren’t finished. Deandre Carter made up for a muffed punt that led to a touchdown in the third quarter with a 55-yard kickoff return to the 40. Williams took it from there, capping an eight-play drive with a 1-yard touchdown pass to Keenan Allen. A 2-point conversion pass to DJ Moore made it 27-24 with 22 seconds remaining. The Bears recovered the onside kick and Williams hit Moore over the middle for a 27-yard gain to the 30 before spiking the ball. Cairo Santos made a 48-yard field goal as time expired.
