Quantum computing is emerging as a game-changing technology poised to revolutionize industries, much like how artificial intelligence (AI) has transformed the digital landscape . As we head toward 2025, experts predict that quantum computing will be the next major frontier in tech, unlocking unprecedented computational power and driving breakthroughs in fields such as cryptography, drug discovery, and optimization. At the heart of quantum computing's potential is the quantum bit, or qubit , which can represent multiple states simultaneously, allowing quantum computers to process data exponentially faster than classical computers. In fact, recent advancements have already shown the immense promise of this technology. For example, Alphabet Inc.’s GOOG GOOGL Quantum AI division, led by Hartmut Neven , recently unveiled its latest quantum chip, Willow . This chip reduces errors exponentially and completed a benchmark computation in under five minutes—an operation that would have taken one of the fastest supercomputers 10^25 years to finish. The rise of quantum computing presents a compelling complement to AI, as it has the potential to enhance AI models and algorithms, helping unlock entirely new frontiers in science and technology. As this technology advances, it could usher in a new wave of innovation, particularly in industries reliant on complex data processing and problem-solving. Amid facing bribery charges worth $265 million by US authorities, billionaire Gautam Adani responded by saying that this is not the first time the company has faced such challeneges and every attack made us stronger. "We had our successes, our challenges were even bigger. These challenges have not broken us. They made us tougher. We will rise stronger, said Adani while addressing the 51st Gem & Jewellery Awards, Jaipur. "Less than 2 weeks back, we faced allegations from the US. This is not the first time we faced such challenges. What I can tell you is that every attack makes us stronger," said Adani. U.S. authorities accused Adani, 62, his nephew and executive director Sagar Adani and managing director of Adani Green , Vneet S. Jaain, of being part of a scheme to pay bribes of $265 million to secure Indian solar power supply contracts, and misleading U.S. investors during fund raises there. The ports-to-power conglomerate has previously denied the charges as "baseless" and vowed to seek "all possible legal recourse". "As a group there will not be any action (on the U.S. indictment) but individuals will be taking steps," Singh said on Friday. He was 83. Mark Young, Woolery's podcast co-host and friend, said in an email early Sunday that Woolery died at his home in Texas with his wife, Kristen, present. “Chuck was a dear friend and brother and a tremendous man of faith, life will not be the same without him,” Young wrote. 24/7 San Diego news stream: Watch NBC 7 free wherever you are Woolery, with his matinee idol looks, coiffed hair and ease with witty banter, was inducted into the American TV Game Show Hall of Fame in 2007 and earned a daytime Emmy nomination in 1978. In 1983, Woolery began an 11-year run as host of TV’s “Love Connection,” for which he coined the phrase, “We’ll be back in two minutes and two seconds,” a two-fingered signature dubbed the “2 and 2.” In 1984, he hosted TV’s “Scrabble,” simultaneously hosting two game shows on TV until 1990. “Love Connection,” which aired long before the dawn of dating apps, had a premise that featured either a single man or single woman who would watch audition tapes of three potential mates and then pick one for a date. A couple of weeks after the date, the guest would sit with Woolery in front of a studio audience and tell everybody about the date. The audience would vote on the three contestants, and if the audience agreed with the guest’s choice, “Love Connection” would offer to pay for a second date. Woolery told The Philadelphia Inquirer in 2003 that his favorite set of lovebirds was a man aged 91 and a woman aged 87. "She had so much eye makeup on, she looked like a stolen Corvette. He was so old he said, ‘I remember wagon trains.’ The poor guy. She took him on a balloon ride.” Entertainment News Britney Spears' ex Sam Asghari shares insight into post-divorce life Taylor Swift and Donna Kelce react to Kylie and Jason's baby No. 4 news Other career highlights included hosting the shows “Lingo," “Greed” and “The Chuck Woolery Show,” as well as hosting the short-lived syndicated revival of “The Dating Game” from 1998 to 2000 and an ill-fated 1991 talk show. In 1992, he played himself in two episodes of TV’s “Melrose Place.” Woolery became the subject of the Game Show Network’s first attempt at a reality show, “Chuck Woolery: Naturally Stoned,” which premiered in 2003. It shared the title of the pop song in 1968 by Woolery and his rock group, the Avant-Garde. It lasted six episode and was panned by critics. Woolery began his TV career at a show that has become a mainstay. Although most associated with Pat Sajak and Vanna White, “Wheel of Fortune” debuted Jan. 6, 1975, on NBC with Woolery welcoming contestants and the audience. Woolery, then 33, was trying to make it in Nashville as a singer. “Wheel of Fortune” started life as “Shopper’s Bazaar,” incorporating Hangman-style puzzles and a roulette wheel. After Woolery appeared on “The Merv Griffin Show” singing “Delta Dawn,” Merv Griffin asked him to host the new show with Susan Stafford. “I had an interview that stretched to 15, 20 minutes,” Woolery told The New York Times in 2003. “After the show, when Merv asked if I wanted to do a game show, I thought, ‘Great, a guy with a bad jacket and an equally bad mustache who doesn’t care what you have to say — that’s the guy I want to be.’” NBC initially passed, but they retooled it as “Wheel of Fortune” and got the green light. After a few years, Woolery demanded a raise to $500,000 a year, or what host Peter Marshall was making on “Hollywood Squares.” Griffin balked and replaced Woolery with weather reporter Pat Sajak. “Both Chuck and Susie did a fine job, and ‘Wheel’ did well enough on NBC, although it never approached the kind of ratings success that ‘Jeopardy!’ achieved in its heyday,” Griffin said in “Merv: Making the Good Life Last,” an autobiography from the 2000s co-written by David Bender. Woolery earned an Emmy nod as host. Born in Ashland, Kentucky, Woolery served in the U.S. Navy before attending college. He played double bass in a folk trio, then formed the psychedelic rock duo The Avant-Garde in 1967 while working as a truck driver to support himself as a musician. The Avant-Garde, which tourbed in a refitted Cadillac hearse, had the Top 40 hit “Naturally Stoned,” with Woolery singing, “When I put my mind on you alone/I can get a good sensation/Feel like I’m naturally stoned.” After The Avant-Garde broke up, Woolery released his debut solo single “I’ve Been Wrong” in 1969 and several more singles with Columbia before transitioning to country music by the 1970s. He released two solo singles, “Forgive My Heart” and “Love Me, Love Me.” Woolery wrote or co-wrote songs for himself and everyone from Pat Boone to Tammy Wynette. On Wynette’s 1971 album “We Sure Can Love Each Other,” Woolery wrote “The Joys of Being a Woman” with lyrics including “See our baby on the swing/Hear her laugh, hear her scream.” After his TV career ended, Woolery went into podcasting. In an interview with The New York Times, he called himself a gun-rights activist and described himself as a conservative libertarian and constitutionalist. He said he hadn’t revealed his politics in liberal Hollywood for fear of retribution. He teamed up with Mark Young in 2014 for the podcast “Blunt Force Truth” and soon became a full supporter of Donald Trump while arguing minorities don’t need civil rights and causing a firestorm by tweeting an antisemitic comment linking Soviet Communists to Judaism. “President Obama’s popularity is a fantasy only held by him and his dwindling legion of juice-box-drinking, anxiety-dog-hugging, safe-space-hiding snowflakes,” he said. Woolery also was active online, retweeting articles from Conservative Brief, insisting Democrats were trying to install a system of Marxism and spreading headlines such as “Impeach him! Devastating photo of Joe Biden leaks.” During the early stages of the pandemic, Woolery initially accused medical professionals and Democrats of lying about the virus in an effort to hurt the economy and Trump’s chances for reelection to the presidency. “The most outrageous lies are the ones about COVID-19. Everyone is lying. The CDC, media, Democrats, our doctors, not all but most, that we are told to trust. I think it’s all about the election and keeping the economy from coming back, which is about the election. I’m sick of it,” Woolery wrote in July 2020. Trump retweeted that post to his 83 million followers. By the end of the month, nearly 4.5 million Americans had been infected with COVID-19 and more than 150,000 had died. Just days later, Woolery changed his stance, announcing his son had contracted COVID-19. “To further clarify and add perspective, COVID-19 is real and it is here. My son tested positive for the virus, and I feel for of those suffering and especially for those who have lost loved ones,” Woolery posted before his account was deleted. Woolery later explained on his podcast that he never called COVID-19 “a hoax” or said “it’s not real,” just that “we’ve been lied to.” Woolery also said it was “an honor to have your president retweet what your thoughts are and think it’s important enough to do that.” In addition to his wife, Woolery is survived by his sons Michael and Sean and his daughter Melissa, Young said.Santa Claus is coming to Humboldt
Illegal immigration is a global issue that affects economies, social cohesion, and national security. Countries worldwide, including the United States and many European nations, face increasing pressure from undocumented migrants, sparking debates on balancing humanitarian responsibility with national security. India faces immigration challenges, both domestically and in terms of emigration to western nations. A recent report showed that nearly 9,00,000 undocumented Indians were caught in the U.S., with half of them being from Gujarat. As a rising global power, India has an opportunity to lead efforts for regulated migration, reduce illegal routes, and promote international cooperation. Illegal immigration affects all regions. In the U.S., (now President-elect) Donald Trump’s hardline approach (in his first tenure), which included calls for mass deportations, has generated significant debate. Large-scale deportations are estimated to cost the U.S., $315 billion, with long-term expenses reaching nearly $968 billion over a decade. Beyond the financial impact, this approach risks losing skilled labour, reducing tax revenues, and separating families. These challenges highlight the need for coordinated action to address the root causes of illegal immigration worldwide. India’s domestic experience India has its own challenges. Some of the northeastern States such as Assam and West Bengal have seen considerable migration from neighbouring countries such as Bangladesh and Myanmar. This influx has raised concerns about employment, social stability, and cultural preservation. In response, India has introduced measures such as the National Register of Citizens (NRC) and the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA). While these initiatives have sparked controversy, they underline India’s efforts to balance national security with humanitarian obligations. India’s experience shows the importance of fair and effective solutions. India-U.S. collaboration India and the U.S. could benefit significantly from a coordinated approach to immigration policy. By sharing best practices and intelligence, both countries can better address security concerns, streamline legal migration, and reduce incentives for illegal immigration. Cooperation could enhance security and foster economic stability and family unity. Some potential areas of cooperation between India and the U.S. include, first, enhanced border security. By jointly working to secure borders, using technology and intelligence sharing, both nations could more effectively prevent illegal crossings. The second area is streamlined migration processes. Simplifying and expediting legal migration channels would reduce wait times and incentivise lawful immigration, making it easier for migrants to follow legal pathways. The third area would be economic development initiatives. Programmes that promote economic growth in high-migration regions could address root causes, providing stability and opportunity locally. The fourth is in humanitarian assistance. Joint efforts to provide aid and support to migrants and refugees would promote safety and dignity, reducing the need to pursue illegal channels. India could also take a proactive role in supporting the voluntary return of undocumented Indian migrants. Partnerships with U.S. immigration agencies could enable an agreed-upon repatriation process, with the Indian government covering part of the expenses to help returning citizens reintegrate into society. This initiative would offer a humane, organised solution, allowing India to address illegal immigration with compassion and responsibility. Efforts to curb illegal immigration may also help strengthen India’s relationship with the U.S. President-elect, who is viewed as a transactional leader and may be inclined to reciprocate with favourable policies or support in other areas. This collaboration could thus bring mutual benefits in multiple spheres of bilateral interest. Western countries should consider their approach to unauthorised migration from stable democracies such as India. Allowing unauthorised migration from democracies disrupts the sovereignty and governance in these countries. To respect human rights, western nations should prioritise legal migration channels and support democratic governments rather than enabling illegal migration. India’s role at the United Nations India’s influence at the United Nations positions it to advocate global solutions to illegal immigration. India can propose resolutions that emphasise border security, fair treatment of migrants, and efficient repatriation processes. Leading efforts to create internationally agreed protocols, India can play a central role in fostering a migration system that is both secure and humane. By collaborating with nations that frequently receive Indian migrants, such as the U.S. and European countries, India can establish clear, lawful migration pathways and work towards combating human trafficking and illegal immigration networks. Illegal immigration is a complex global issue that requires coordinated, multilateral action. India, as a rising global power, is well-positioned to lead by promoting regulated migration, supporting the return of undocumented migrants, and encouraging international cooperation. Working with partners such as the U.S., India can create a more humane, effective immigration system, setting an example for addressing one of the world’s most pressing challenges with compassion, cooperation, and shared responsibility. This partnership also has the potential to benefit India in its relationship with the U.S., as a transactional approach could see both sides reaping rewards for mutual efforts. Americai V. Hayes enjoyed her return to familiar shores but felt the US lacked the “killer piece” after they looked the likelier side to make the breakthrough. Elite meeting of the minds 🌟 pic.twitter.com/R4d8EArqTp — U.S. Women's National Soccer Team (@USWNT) November 30, 2024 Asked what was going through her mind during the national anthem, Hayes said: “I was definitely mouthing (it), and Naomi (Girma) and Lynn (Williams) could see that I was struggling with where to be and all that. “I got to the end of the anthems and I thought, ‘that’s so ridiculous. I’m proud to be English and I’m proud of our national anthem, and I’m also really proud to coach America’. “Two things are possible all at once. I don’t want to fuel a nationalist debate around it. The realities are both countries are really dear to me for lots of reasons, and I’m really proud to represent both of them.” The Lionesses did not register a shot on target in the first half but grew into the game in the second. US captain Lindsey Horan had the ball in the net after the break but the flag was up, while Hayes’ side had a penalty award for a handball reversed after a VAR check determined substitute Yazmeen Ryan’s shot hit Alex Greenwood’s chest. Hayes, who left Chelsea after 12 trophy-packed years this summer, said: “I’ve been privileged to coach a lot of top-level games, including here, so there’s a familiarity to being here for me. “It’s not new to me, and because of that there was a whole sense of I’m coming back to a place I know. I have a really healthy perspective, and I want to have a really healthy perspective on my profession. “I give everything I possibly can for a team that I really, really enjoy coaching, and I thrive, not just under pressure, but I like these opportunities, I like being in these situations. They bring out the best in me. “You’ve got two top teams now, Sarina is an amazing coach, I thought it was a good tactical match-up, and I just enjoy coaching a high-level football match, to be honest with you. I don’t think too much about it.” Hayes had travelled to London without her entire Olympic gold medal-winning ‘Triple Espresso’ forward line of Trinity Rodman, Mallory Swanson and Sophia Smith, all nursing niggling injuries. Before the match, the 48-year-old was spotted chatting with Wiegman and her US men’s counterpart, fellow ex-Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino, who was also in attendance. England were also missing a number of key attackers for the friendly including Lauren Hemp, Lauren James and Ella Toone, all ruled out with injury. "This shows where we are at and we need to keep improving. It is November now. This is good but we want to be better again. We have to be better again." 👊 Reaction from the boss ⬇️ — Lionesses (@Lionesses) November 30, 2024 Wiegman brushed aside suggestions from some pundits that her side were content to settle for a draw. She said: “I think we were really defending as a team, very strong. We got momentum in the second half, we did better, and of course both teams went for the win. “So many things happened in this game, also in front of the goal, so I don’t think it was boring. “We wanted to go for the win, but it was such a high-intensity game, you have to deal with a very good opponent, so you can’t just say, ‘Now we’re going to go and score that goal’. “We tried, of course, to do that. We didn’t slow down to keep it 0-0. I think that was just how the game went.”FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — Josh Hoover threw for 252 yards and a touchdown and JP Richardson had 149 all-purpose yards and a 38-yard touchdown reception to lead TCU over Arizona 49-28 on Saturday. NonePanaji: Health minister Vishwajit Rane on Sunday said that his department has initiated public-private partnerships to deploy cutting-edge technologies, such as artificial intelligence-enabled X-ray screening systems and NAAT ( nucleic acid amplification test ) equipment for detecting tuberculosis in its early stages. He said that the state is participating in the national ‘100 days of TB elimination’ drive by conducting focused outreach in high-risk regions, collaborating with community leaders and encouraging local involvement through the Nikshay Mitra programme. “From Jan 1–12, targeted campaigns will be conducted in at-risk areas, engaging influential individuals and youths to raise awareness and mobilise action. Republic Day events will further amplify the message, focusing on vulnerable populations. Weekly monitoring will ensure progress, and influential personalities will be roped in to promote this drive, including sharing impactful video clips on social media,” Rane said. During a virtual meeting with Union health minister J P Nadda, Rane emphasised the importance of linking women and child development (WCD) and health, recognising the vital role anganwadi workers (AWWs) play at the grassroots. “By working together in unity, WCD and health can create effective, sustainable solutions,” he said. Usgao and Shiroda panchayats have been recognised as “TB Mukt” under the Union health ministry’s 2023 initiative among 191 panchayats in Goa, meeting the required criteria for this status. The health services said that the initiative requires the collection of at least 30 samples per 1,000 population. Further, the number of TB patients should be zero or one per 1,000. Rane said the health services had partnered with AstraZeneca India to enhance lung cancer detection through AI-based screening. With 1,400-1,500 new cancer cases annually, he said, early diagnosis has become a critical focus. “Powered by Qure.ai’s advanced AI technology, the initiative enables timely detection across district hospitals, improving survival rates,” the health minister posted on X. More info A Strictly Come Dancing star was left mortified after appearing in a TikTok in just their underwear. Toyah Willcox , who was paired with professional dancer Neil Jones on this year’s show, recalled the incident as she described it the “most embarrassing moment” of her life. Discussing the red-faced moment, Toyah, 66, explained who she and her husband Robert Fripp were recording a new video for social media when she accidentally left the camera rolling. Despite having finished their video, the camera continued and captured the star in her underwear as she carried on with her day - much to her horror. “It was one of the most embarrassing things I’ve ever done,” the It’s A Mystery singer said. “My husband Robert and I were dressed as unicorns for a video we were filming and I left the camera on afterwards. “It was running for about 45 minutes and showed me getting dressed and getting ready and my team were watching and nobody told me! I was just getting on with my day. I was in my underwear and I cleaned my teeth, I was singing, walking around and I cleaned the bath.” She added: “My team was desperate for me to turn the camera off. When I realised what I'd done I apologised profusely. I was so embarrassed.” Toyah’s confession comes as research, commissioned by Smart Energy GB, revealed that 26% of over-65s want to get better at using technology, but feel held back. A poll of 1,000 over-65s discovered that 20% are nervous about using video-calling tech, or voice-activated assistants. Barriers that prevent older adults from adopting modern devices include online privacy concerns as well as the large upfront cost. The poll also found that 41% feel the rapid pace of technological change makes them less likely to pick up modern tech. Speaking of the issue, the singer-songwriter explained: “Technology is advancing so quickly that I sometimes find it tricky to know which gadgets to get and how to use them. I do a lot of research, like speaking to friends and family, to help me decide which devices will be simple to use and make my life easier. “Sometimes I have concerns and then realise they were unfounded, like with my smart meter – I actually found it very easy to use. They send automatic readings to your supplier so you can forget about meter readings, and you know your bills will be accurate and the portable display shows how much energy you are using.” Meanwhile a spokesperson for Smart Energy GB added: “Technology can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when it changes so rapidly. Not all tech necessarily makes life easier. “But some gadgets and devices, like smart meters, are intuitive and user-friendly, crafted with simplicity in mind so that everyone can benefit, however tech savvy you might be.
Governor Eno has displayed a high level of prudence, and selflessness in the pursuit of public good, writes ANIETIE USEN For three days, from December 16 to December 18, 2024, 18 months into his administration, Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State broke new grounds in openness, accountability and transparency in public office. This time, the Governor, in a very transparent and pragmatic approach, hosted what he called the Ministerial Briefing/End of Year Review of his Administration. In a first-of-its-kind town hall-style summit, the Governor, his entire cabinet and critical agencies, brought their annual performance report openly before a cross-section of political and business leaders in the State, along with the leadership of the media, labour and civil liberty organisations. The idea was not only to subject his annual performance to public scrutiny and evaluation, or carry along these critical stakeholders in the next steps of the government, but more importantly to seek their inputs and buy-in into the plans and goals of the government from Day One of 2025. Prince Enobong Uwa, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), in his opening remark at the occasion called it “bottom-up” approach. In a well-tailored approach designed to accomplish specific deliverables, every head of MDA did not only present their report cards for the outgoing 2024 but their programmes and goals for 2025 and beyond. In the process, all leaders of MDAs also laid bare before stakeholders their leadership skills and grasp of issues under their watches. There was no doubt whatsoever in the minds of stakeholders that the Governor himself was on top of his game, as his depth and insight into every aspect of his government were profound and second-to-none. From the land, air, and sea gateways of the State economy, Governor Eno demonstrated uncommon managerial acumen that compelled and assured stakeholders that the ship of State in Akwa Ibom is in good hands. As the world grapples with the challenges of corruption, malfeasance, and pervassive wrongdoings in the public sector, the importance of transparency and accountability in governance has never been more pressing. From the Nordic countries’ exemplary open-government initiatives to Brazil’s innovative use of e-governance to track public spending, nations around the world are demonstrating that transparency and accountability are essential ingredients for good governance, economic prosperity, and social justice. This is what delighted Akwa Ibom stakeholders most about Governor Eno’s government and leadership style, which is simultaneously attracting national attention. Just as the three-day ministerial briefing/ review was in session, the respected Leadership Newspaper, announced the Pastor turned politician, as the Nigerian Governor of the Year 2024, for bringing “pragmatic and imaginative leadership that reverberates with success within a very short time....” Close watchers of his administration and style of leadership are not surprised. His style combines a large dose of participative leadership which has involved team members in the decision-making process, with the servant leadership style which prioritises the needs of populace and entity over and above the interest of the leadership. Governor Eno has displayed a high level of prudence, transparency, and selflessness in the pursuit of public good that has captured the imagination of many, including his political opponents. One of the governor’s opponents in the last governorship primaries who is now actively supporting the governor confided in this writer his amazement with Governor Eno’s sterling performance, transparency and openness to public scrutiny. “I hope you will not quote me, but honestly, whenever I look at the performance of this governor, I ask myself, would I have measured up to this very high level and standards of performance?” Said Governor Eno at the opening of the three-day ministerial briefing/review: “We came into office with an overwhelming electoral victory. Eighteen months later, I believe it is time we should sit together and look critically on what we have been able to achieve together as a government. We will be here together for three days to take stock, to see the things we have done right and to consolidate on them, and to see the things we should do right and to learn to do them right...It is simply an opportunity for us as a government to have feedback and learn”. It turned out that the learning was a two-way exchange. A cross section of stakeholders who jam-packed the sprawling Banquet Hall of the Government House learned with great delight, not just about the bold and daring economic and infrastructural steps Governor Eno has taken to make Akwa Ibom a proud sub-national in Nigeria, but they also were proud to know first hand that the State is lucky one more time to be steered by a competent transformational leader. Stakeholders said his job approval rating in 18 months is probably unrivalled in the history of the 37-year- old State. Those who spoke inside and outside the briefing venue were united in their perception and opinion on the calibre and capacity of the businessman turned Governor. Senator Effiong Bob, the political leader of Uyo Senatorial District, was effusive with his rating of the Governor: “When you have a good product, it is easy to sell. This ministerial briefing is a novel idea, because we have never had it so good and open in Akwa Ibom State”. Otuekong T. O Akpan, an elder statesman and former member of the Cross River State House of Assembly, spoke along the same lines: “I am very excited to be a part of this event. Coming from the private sector, the Governor has brought innovation into governance, leading to an unprecedented development in all components of the ARISE Agenda for the good of Akwa Ibom people.” Goddy Umoh, Chairman, Akwa Ibom State Assembly Service Commission, said the ministerial briefing was very illuminating. “Through the ministerial briefing, we are able to know clearly what the Governor has been doing in the last 18 months and what the Governor intends to do in 2025. It is very rare to see a state governor in Nigeria put all his cards on the table for all to see...” For the Oku Ibom Ibibio, the patriarch of Ibobio people, Dr. Solomon Etuk, his joy as the traditional father of the Governor was obvious. “I am proud of the Governor, not because he is my own son, but because he has excelled in everything he has initiated and beyond. I am so delighted to be an eye-witness of this unprecedented initiative of openly rendering the account of his stewardship... While Chief Nduese Essien, former minister of Housing and Environment said the ministerial briefing is a unique idea that “has never been done in any state of the federation...”, Senator Emmanuel Ibok-Essien said that “after eight years, many states will not be able to compete with Akwa Ibom State, at the rate Governor Eno is performing”. In his opinion, the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), in Akwa Ibom State, Comrade Amos Etuk said the ministerial briefing should remain “a legacy” of the Umo Eno’s ARISE Agenda in order to foster steady accountability, deepen transparency and agenda setting in years to come. Said the Chairman of Trade Union Congress, Akwa Ibom State, Comrade Dominic Abah: It was really revealing to see the Governor sit down throughout the scrutiny of his administration to hear from the people and take down notes. This is the difference between a transformational and transactional leadership”.
