lucky jili slot 777 real money By MICHELLE L. PRICE and ROB GILLIES NEW YORK (AP) — President-elect Donald Trump’s recent dinner with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his visit to Paris for the reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral were not just exercises in policy and diplomacy. They were also prime trolling opportunities for Trump. There were his belittling nicknames for political opponents, his impressions of other political figures and the plentiful memes he shared on social media. Now that’s he’s preparing to return to the Oval Office, Trump is back at it, and his trolling is attracting more attention — and eyerolls. On Sunday, Trump turned a photo of himself seated near a smiling first lady Jill Biden at the Notre Dame ceremony into a social media promo for his new perfume and cologne line, with the tag line, “A fragrance your enemies can’t resist!” The first lady’s office declined to comment. When Trudeau hastily flew to Florida to meet with Trump last month over the president-elect’s threat to impose a 25% tax on all Canadian products entering the U.S., the Republican tossed out the idea that Canada become the 51st U.S. state. The Canadians passed off the comment as a joke, but Trump has continued to play up the dig, including in a post Tuesday morning on his social media network referring to the prime minister as “Governor Justin Trudeau of the Great State of Canada.” After decades as an entertainer and tabloid fixture, Trump has a flair for the provocative that is aimed at attracting attention and, in his most recent incarnation as a politician, mobilizing fans. He has long relished poking at his opponents, both to demean and minimize them and to delight supporters who share his irreverent comments and posts widely online and cheer for them in person. Trump, to the joy of his fans, first publicly needled Canada on his social media network a week ago when he posted an AI-generated image that showed him standing on a mountain with a Canadian flag next to him and the caption “Oh Canada!” After his latest post, Canadian Immigration Minister Marc Miller said Tuesday: “It sounds like we’re living in a episode of South Park.” Trudeau said earlier this week that when it comes to Trump, “his approach will often be to challenge people, to destabilize a negotiating partner, to offer uncertainty and even sometimes a bit of chaos into the well established hallways of democracies and institutions and one of the most important things for us to do is not to freak out, not to panic.” Even Thanksgiving dinner isn’t a trolling-free zone for Trump’s adversaries. On Thanksgiving Day, Trump posted a movie clip from “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” with President Joe Biden and other Democrats’ faces superimposed on the characters in a spoof of the turkey-carving scene. The video shows Trump appearing to explode out of the turkey in a swirl of purple sparks, with the former president stiffly dancing to one of his favorite songs, Village People’s “Y.M.C.A.” In his most recent presidential campaign, Trump mocked Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, refusing to call his GOP primary opponent by his real name and instead dubbing him “Ron DeSanctimonious.” He added, for good measure, in a post on his Truth Social network: “I will never call Ron DeSanctimonious ‘Meatball’ Ron, as the Fake News is insisting I will.” As he campaigned against Biden, Trump taunted him in online posts and with comments and impressions at his rallies, deriding the president over his intellect, his walk, his golf game and even his beach body. After Vice President Kamala Harris took over Biden’s spot as the Democratic nominee, Trump repeatedly suggested she never worked at McDonalds while in college. Trump, true to form, turned his mocking into a spectacle by appearing at a Pennsylvania McDonalds in October, when he manned the fries station and held an impromptu news conference from the restaurant drive-thru. Trump’s team thinks people should get a sense of humor. “President Trump is a master at messaging and he’s always relatable to the average person, whereas many media members take themselves too seriously and have no concept of anything else other than suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome,” said Steven Cheung, Trump’s communications director. “President Trump will Make America Great Again and we are getting back to a sense of optimism after a tumultuous four years.” Though both the Biden and Harris campaigns created and shared memes and launched other stunts to respond to Trump’s taunts, so far America’s neighbors to the north are not taking the bait. “I don’t think we should necessarily look on Truth Social for public policy,” Miller said. Gerald Butts, a former top adviser to Trudeau and a close friend, said Trump brought up the 51st state line to Trudeau repeatedly during Trump’s first term in office. “Oh God,” Butts said Tuesday, “At least a half dozen times.” “This is who he is and what he does. He’s trying to destabilize everybody and make people anxious,” Butts said. “He’s trying to get people on the defensive and anxious and therefore willing to do things they wouldn’t otherwise entertain if they had their wits about them. I don’t know why anybody is surprised by it.” Gillies reported from Toronto. Associated Press writer Darlene Superville contributed to this report.'s President was banned Monday from travelling abroad, the justice ministry said, less than a week after he plunged the country into chaos by briefly imposing . Yoon sent special forces and helicopters to parliament on the night of December 3 before lawmakers forced him to rescind the order by rejecting his decree. The unpopular leader narrowly survived an impeachment motion in parliament Saturday even as huge crowds braved freezing temperatures to call for his ouster. Despite remaining in office, a clutch of investigations has been closing in on Yoon and his close allies, including a probe for alleged insurrection. The ministry of justice confirmed on Monday that Yoon had become the first sitting South Korean president to be banned from leaving the country. A lawmaker was asked at a Monday parliamentary hearing whether Yoon had been banned from international travel. "Yes, that's right," replied Bae Sang-up, an immigration services commissioner at the ministry. Also under travel bans for their roles in last week's events are former defense minister Kim Yong-hyun -- currently in detention -- and ex-interior minister Lee Sang-min. General Park An-su, the officer in charge of the martial law operation, and defense counterintelligence commander Yeo In-hyung are also barred from leaving South Korea. Investigators hauled Park in for further questioning Monday, and Yonhap news agency reported that prosecutors had asked for a warrant for Kim's formal arrest. The impeachment push failed to pass after members of Yoon's own People Power Party (PPP) walked out of parliament, depriving it of the necessary two-thirds majority. The PPP says that in exchange, the 63-year-old Yoon has agreed to hand power to the prime minister and party chief, prompting howls of protest from the opposition. "This is an unlawful, unconstitutional act of a second insurrection and a second coup," Democratic Party floor leader Park Chan-dae said. Under South Korea's constitution, the president remains head of government and commander in chief of the army unless he or she is incapacitated, resigns or steps down. In such a case, power would then be handed to the prime minister on an interim basis until elections could be held. Claiming Yoon can remain in office but has delegated his powers to the prime minister and leader of his ruling PPP -- who is not an elected official -- is "a blatant constitutional violation with no legal basis", Park said. "Their attitude of placing themselves above the constitution mirrors that of insurrectionist Yoon Suk Yeol," he said. South Korea's ally the United States indicated it would still deal with Yoon but said it "will keep lines of communication open with all relevant parties". "President Yoon is the president of Korea, and the political process in Korea will play out, as it should, under Korea's laws and Korea's constitution," State Department spokesman Matthew Miller told reporters. The defense ministry confirmed Monday that the embattled Yoon still oversees the country's security apparatus, despite the apparent power vacuum in a country that remains technically at war with nuclear-armed North Korea. "Legally, (control of military forces) currently lies with the commander in chief," defense ministry spokesperson Jeon Ha-kyou said. Yoon has apologised for "anxiety and inconvenience" caused by his declaration of martial law but has not stepped down, saying instead he would entrust decisions about his fate to his party. He also said he would accept all political and legal responsibility for the martial law fiasco. There is no constitutional basis supporting the ruling party's claim that Yoon can stay in office but hand over his power to unelected party officials, said Kim Hae-won, a constitutional law professor at Pusan National University Law School. "It seems to resemble an unconstitutional soft coup," he told AFP. "If there are issues with the president, there are ways laid out in the constitution such as suspending the president from his duties, and then move on to proceedings set out in the constitution, such as impeachment," he said. The opposition has already said they would try again to impeach Yoon, with leader Lee Jae-myung saying another vote would be held Saturday.Middle East latest: Ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon is set to begin at 4 am

A Chinatown resident took the City of Vancouver and the Vancouver Police Department to court over a surveillance truck parked near her apartment. Karina Papenbrock-Ryan alleged the VPD violated her privacy and charter rights when it left its surveillance trailer on East Pender Street four years ago. The force calls the machine its . It consists of cameras and other equipment mounted on wheels. Police placed it outside the Chinese Cultural Centre in April 2020 in response to racist graffiti referencing COVID-19, the holocaust, and threatening violence against Asian people. The trailer was about one and a half blocks from Papenbrock-Ryan’s condominium. She estimated she walked through its field of view about 10 times without knowing what it was. When she saw a social media post explaining that it had cameras, she decided to modify her route so she wouldn’t walk past it anymore. “Ms. Papenbrock-Ryan describes this action as a test case dealing with the rights of the public to be free from mass surveillance by means of video cameras deployed in a public place or, put differently, general video surveillance without a specific investigative purpose,” judge Bruce Elwood wrote in his . Elwood dismissed Papenbrock-Elwood’s action but thanked her for bringing it forward. The case focused on whether her privacy was breached. Elwood explained there are already laws governing continually recorded police surveillance of public spaces, facial recognition technology, collection of personal information by the VPD, targeted surveillance during a criminal investigation, and the admissibility of video evidence during a criminal trial. The surveillance trailer records its video locally on a hard drive that’s wiped clean every four days unless an officer tries to access it. Though the judge accepted that Papenbrock-Elwood would have walked through its field of view, there’s nothing to suggest that a VPD officer accessed, reviewed, or distributed any images of her. Given the totality of circumstances, the judge didn’t think her privacy was violated. “At most, the footage of Ms. Papenbrock-Ryan would have disclosed her gender, her general appearance, her direction of travel, her mode of travel, and the date and time when she passed by,” the judge wrote. “It would not have revealed where she lives, where she works, where she was going, her religious or political beliefs, with whom she associates or any other biographical information about her.” Pepenbrock-Elwood’s privacy concerns also had to be balanced against community concerns following the hateful graffiti. “Provided it was working at the time, the [trailer] may have recorded a criminal act in progress, an image of a suspect, their direction and mode of travel, etc.” the judge wrote. “However, its primary purposes were to serve as a physical and psychological deterrent, and to reassure the community.” The judge looked at screenshots from the trailer and estimated its field of view at about 40 square metres. Its cameras were aimed at the Chinese Cultural Centre. The surveillance trailer ended up being removed in June 2020. It suffered technical difficulties that led to it not recording for several days. During that time, the trailer itself was tagged with graffiti.

Liveblog: Canadiens face the Utah Hockey Club for the first timeBTC Mainnet, RGB++ Protocol, and CKB: A Comprehensive View of Crypto Asset Issuance 11-26-2024 09:26 PM CET | Business, Economy, Finances, Banking & Insurance Press release from: Getnews / PR Agency: LianPR The BTC mainnet, as the leader in crypto asset issuance, is driving an unprecedented boom in the BTC ecosystem through a powerful spillover effect. As the leader of BTC ecosystem protocols, the RGB++ protocol, with its technical advantages and rapid development capabilities, has become a strategic focus for CKB in this cycle. The RGB++ protocol excels in the development of BTCFi infrastructure and is highly compatible with meme and AI sectors. With the addition of the long-term deployed Lightning Network Fiber by CKB, the protocol shows immense growth potential. As the leader in BTC ecosystem targets, CKB naturally captures the value of RGB++, further reinforcing its scarcity and leadership position. So why is the BTC mainnet the leader in crypto asset issuance, the RGB++ Layer the leader in BTC ecosystem protocols, and CKB the leader in BTC ecosystem targets? BTC Mainnet: The Leader in Crypto Asset Issuance BTC is the most consensus-backed asset, and protocols that cannot support BTCFi will lose their core competitiveness. Technical Advantages of RGB++ Layer The RGB++ Layer has been highly recognized by @BinanceResearch for its BTC-native technologies like isomorphic binding and bridgeless cross-chain functionality. The protocol offers Turing-complete programmability while also providing high privacy, transaction efficiency, security, and censorship resistance. The RGB++ Layer integrates a full suite of DeFi facilities, making it the only protocol currently capable of supporting BTCFi. The comprehensive support from Bitcoin's Lightning Network and CKB's Fiber Network greatly expands the development space of the protocol. Advantages of CKB CKB serves as the decentralized indexer, smart contract engine, and DA layer for the RGB++ Layer. Issuing RGB++ assets naturally stakes CKB, allowing CKB to capture BTCFi value. Since the inception of RGB++, the CKB mainnet's Unique Address has grown by approximately 2 million, and the overall network hashrate has increased by around 46%. Over 500 projects have issued assets on the RGB++ Layer, with over 24 million CKBs naturally staked. With just 10,000 projects, all CKB will be occupied, supporting the scarcity and leading position of CKB through natural staking. Integration of Top Projects into the RGB++ Layer Ecosystem More than 500 projects have issued assets on the RGB++ Layer, with over 24 million CKB naturally staked. Top projects like Gate Web3 Wallet, CoinEx Exchange, Element NFT Marketplace, and Wizz Wallet have already integrated the RGB++ protocol, further promoting the ecosystem's development. -Bitcoin L2 Solutions Bitcoin L2 solution UTXO Stack is continuously advancing, with plans to launch the high-performance Bitcoin L2 solution Branch Chain. Its first AppChain will serve Bitcoin financial businesses. Additionally, UTXO Stack will launch a Bitcoin Lightning Network staking layer to address channel liquidity management issues, accelerating large-scale adoption of the Lightning Network. -Innovation and Development of RGB++ Layer The leading RGB++ asset SEAL community has developed and operates the first Launchpad platform in the Bitcoin ecosystem, SealtoEarn, adopting a unique IBO model. The first IBO project, Stable++ protocol token $SBT, has a total issuance of 21 million, with 20% of the shares airdropped to $Seal stakers. Two rounds of staking attracted a total of 28.97 million $Seal, receiving analysis and promotion from top KOLs like 0xWizard, He Bi, and Crypto Philanthropist, gaining nearly 1 million online attention. -Development of Stablecoins and Payment Networks Over-collateralized stablecoin protocol Stable++ has received strategic financing from CKB Eco Fund, benchmarking RGB++ Layer against Omni Layer. It supports BTC, CKB, and RGB++ asset collateral and has issued the first RGB++ stablecoin $RUSD. The team consists of members from Google, Stanford, UC Berkeley, and top 100 public chains in CMC, with a cumulative TVL exceeding $50M. Interpaystellar will use the RGB++ protocol to build a native payment network on the BTC mainnet and launch the first programmable stablecoin #USDI to promote large-scale adoption of BTCFi and the Lightning Network. -Decentralized Exchanges and Multi-chain Ecosystems UTXOSwap, the first decentralized exchange based on the RGB++ Layer, provides liquidity for all UTXO chain assets through bridgeless cross-chain and smart contract functions, making it an important part of BTCFi. Meanwhile, CKB, in collaboration with Matrixport's subsidiary CactusCustody and Meson Finance, has issued ccBTC, backed 1:1 by Bitcoin reserves, on the CKB mainnet. Bool Network has also deployed BRC20 and Runes assets with CKB's bidirectional cross-chain and plans to further expand to multi-chain ecosystems including ETH-CKB, SOL-CKB, and TON-CKB. -Innovative Projects The full-chain AI gaming ecosystem Cellula has completed a $2 million Pre-Seed round of financing from BinanceLabs, co-led by SevenX Ventures and OKX Ventures. The project uses the RGB++ protocol to issue 511*6 sets of BitCell NFTs on Bitcoin Layer1, providing a new gaming experience. The Bitcoin autonomous world WORLD3I, based on the RGB++ Layer and DOB protocol, has completed $6 million in financing, co-led by Animoca Brands, Dapper Labs, EVG, and Com2uS. Since its launch, the project has attracted over 100,000 users and minted 3,327 SOUL Dragons on August 7. The multi-chain composable DOBs project Nervape, built on Bitcoin, has partnered with WeirdoGhostGang to issue DOBs assets and develop games. Supported by NFTGo's strategic incubation, dobhub is the first DOB issuance platform on CKB, allowing users to easily create and issue DOBs through its innovative Launchpad while tracking minting progress in real-time and conveniently browsing existing, upcoming, and historical series of DOBs. Element has fully integrated RGB++ and launched trading activities, while GameBuild develops SDKs supporting Bitcoin native assets and the RGB++ protocol. Summary Therefore, on the world's best crypto asset issuance platform BTC, the RGB++ Layer stands out among numerous protocols with its technical advantages, attracting numerous high-quality projects to join, while CKB captures the tremendous value it brings. This highlights the crucial role of RGB++ Layer and CKB in driving innovation and development in the crypto world. Disclaimer: This press release may contain forward-looking statements. In order to understand this sudden popularity of using artificial technology in medicine, we must acknowledge one of the most consequential changes in our modern world. COVID-19. During the COVID pandemic, there was a great change in society, with the pandemic overwhelming medical systems around the world, affecting healthcare to a large extent. This led to a large increase in the development of useful AI systems, such as Nestler, who created many AI tools to aid with the collecting of data and quickly analyse datasets and scans in seconds. Additionally, AI can help doctors analyse photos, noticing microscopic details that can easily pass the human eye, possibly helping doctors quickly notice the source of trouble and further understand the day-to-day needs of the patients they look after. This can help detect many conditions faster, helping to save a proliferating number of lives. The use of AI during wide-scale diseases AI is a crucial element enduring widespread disease. This is because training AI to help notice important patterns and predict useful medicine can be a salient help in saving many lives. One example of this is AI analysing COVID patients to find suspected diseases, reducing the time the pathogen remains unknown and therefore helping support their speedy recovery. This had a great effect on the diagnosis of many diseases, so much so that it aided the creation of the COVID vaccine. What does the future of AI in medicine look like? It is predicted that by 2030, AI will function independently in complex environments. However, what does this mean for the future of medicine? First, there will be a large amount of change in the workforce, with new positions and skills being required in the job market. However, with human interaction being a key aspect of healthcare, we can confidently assume our roles are safe for the time being. But as our world continues to change drastically, the future may be that of a trust between humans and computers, relying on them as a main source of medical guidance. Until then, AI will continue to augment human intelligence in medical matters, supporting us over the next few decades.

While the Carolina Hurricanes are putting themselves in strong position to eventually secure home-ice advantage in the postseason, the New York Rangers appear to be a shell of the squad that won the teams' second-round playoff series last season in six games. The Hurricanes will attempt to extend their winning home winning streak to nine games, while the Rangers hope to avoid a fourth straight loss when the Metropolitan Division foes convene for the first time this season on Wednesday in Raleigh, N.C. Carolina missed winning the division by three points last season, when it finished with 111. The title instead went to New York, which also won the Presidents' Trophy after racking up a league-best 114 points. Just more than a month into the new season, the Hurricanes own the third-most points in the league (31) and are outscoring foes 41-16 on home ice since taking a 4-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning in their home opener on Oct. 11. Carolina has scored at least four goals in each game of its home winning streak and has hit that mark 16 times overall in 21 games this season. The Hurricanes kept the streak alive with Monday's 6-4 victory over the Dallas Stars. Carolina scored five goals in the third period, including a tiebreaking, power-play goal from Martin Necas with under three minutes left to overcome a 3-1 deficit. "I already know what we have," Carolina coach Rod Brind'Amour said. "It's just, can they grasp how we have to play every shift? I think sometimes we get a little off and try to do things differently, then all of a sudden, we get to the way we have to play... We don't always get the result like that, but you're giving yourself a chance. Really, a game like that, that's what you're hoping you get out of it." Sebastian Aho scored the first goal of the third-period flurry and collected three assists. Seth Jarvis scored in his first game since Nov. 9 and collected two assists, including the secondary helper on the goal by Necas. The Hurricanes are continuing to win despite uncertainty in goal. Frederik Andersen is about a month into his recovery from knee surgery and Pyotr Kochetkov is in the concussion protocol after colliding with defenseman Sean Walker in Saturday's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Spencer Martin started in goal Monday. The Rangers raced out to a 5-0-1 start but are just 7-7-0 since then and have lost three straight. New York ended its four-game road trip with a 6-2 loss to the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday and produced another dud in a 5-2 home loss to the St. Louis Blues Monday. Will Cuylle scored twice, but big names Vincent Trocheck, Artemi Panarin and Mika Zibanejad combined for six shots on goal and were a combined minus-7 as the Rangers were outshot 44-29. "We need to be better," New York coach Peter Laviolette said. "Everybody needs to be better. It's not good enough what we're doing." Monday's loss came after reports surfaced that general manager Chris Drury told other teams he may be willing to trade forward Chris Kreider and defenseman Jacob Trouba, who has a no-move clause to 15 teams. Kreider on Monday missed his first game since Jan. 16, 2023, due to an upper-body injury and is day-to-day. He has nine goals in 19 games this season. Trouba was on the ice for two goals Monday and has just two points since collecting four assists in the first three games this season. These measures are designed to address both privacy concerns and national security risks. The rule seeks to classify data brokers as consumer reporting agencies under the FCRA when they sell information such as Social Security Numbers, income details, and credit histories. This would subject these entities to stringent requirements, including data accuracy, consumer access to information, and enhanced safeguards against misuse. “The CFPB’s proposed rule will curtail these practices that threaten our personal safety and undermine America’s national security,” said CFPB Director Rohit Chopra. National Security and Consumer Protections The CFPB’s proposal identifies multiple risks posed by the data broker industry. Personal data, including information about military personnel and government employees, can be purchased by foreign adversaries such as China or Russia, posing espionage and surveillance threats. Additionally, criminals frequently exploit detailed consumer profiles to execute fraud schemes targeting vulnerable populations, such as senior citizens and individuals in financial distress. Personal safety is another key concern. Sensitive information sold by brokers can be used to track or harass individuals, including law enforcement officers, judges, and domestic violence survivors, increasing the risk of violence. Proposed Safeguards The new rule would introduce several measures to protect consumers from these risks. Data brokers would face the same regulatory oversight as credit bureaus and background check companies, ensuring compliance with FCRA protections regardless of how the information is marketed. Companies would also be required to obtain explicit consumer consent for data sharing, addressing long-standing criticisms about opaque data-handling practices. These safeguards aim to prevent data brokers from sidestepping FCRA requirements while continuing to sell highly sensitive consumer information. The regulation would also preserve government agencies’ access to necessary data for law enforcement, counterintelligence, and counterterrorism purposes, ensuring public safety remains a priority. Broader Implications This rule marks another step in a broader government initiative to strengthen data privacy protections. It aligns with recent Executive Orders and actions by other agencies, including an October proposal from the Department of Justice aimed at restricting access to Americans’ sensitive information by nations of concern. The CFPB’s proposal aims to combat the misuse of personal data in an era where technological advancements have made consumer information more vulnerable than ever. If implemented, the rule could significantly transform the data broker industry while bolstering privacy, national security, and consumer protections. NoneResearchers from the Israeli cybersecurity company Knostic have unveiled a groundbreaking method to exploit large language models (LLMs), such as ChatGPT, by leveraging what they describe as an "impulsiveness" characteristic in AI. Dubbed flowbreaking, this attack bypasses safety mechanisms to coax the AI into revealing restricted information or providing harmful guidance – responses it was programmed to withhold. The findings, published Tuesday, detail how the attack manipulates AI systems into prematurely generating and displaying responses before their safety protocols can intervene. These responses –ranging from sensitive data such as a boss's salary to harmful instructions – are then momentarily visible on the user’s screen before being deleted by the AI’s safety systems. However, tech-savvy users who record their interactions can still access the fleetingly exposed information. 2 View gallery ChatGPT ( Photo: OpenAI ) How the attack works Unlike older methods such as jailbreaking, which relied on linguistic tricks to bypass safeguards, flowbreaking targets internal components of LLMs, exploiting gaps in the interaction between those components. Knostic researchers identified two primary vulnerabilities enabled by this method: Second Thoughts: AI models sometimes stream answers to users before safety mechanisms fully evaluate the content. In this scenario, a response is displayed and quickly erased, but not before the user sees it. Stop and Roll: By halting the AI mid-response, users can force the system to display partially generated answers that have bypassed safety checks. “LLMs operate in real-time, which inherently limits their ability to ensure airtight security,” said Gadi Evron, CEO and co-founder of Knostic. “This is why layered, context-aware security is critical, especially in enterprise environments.” 2 View gallery Copilot ( Photo: Robert Way / Shutterstock ) Implications for AI security Knostic’s findings have far-reaching implications for the safe deployment of AI systems in industries such as finance, health care, and technology. The company warns that, without stringent safeguards, even well-intentioned AI implementations like Microsoft Copilot and Glean could inadvertently expose sensitive data or create other vulnerabilities. Evron emphasized the importance of "need-to-know" identity-based safeguards and robust interaction monitoring. “AI safety isn’t just about blocking bad actors. It’s about ensuring these systems align with the organization’s operational context,” he said. About Knostic Founded in 2023 by Gadi Evron, a veteran of the cybersecurity industry, and Sunil Yu, former chief security scientist at Bank of America, Knostic operates out of Israel and the U.S., employing 14 staff members. Notably, it was the only AI security company to reach the finals in both competitions. As the adoption of AI accelerates, Knostic’s findings serve as a crucial reminder of the ongoing need to address vulnerabilities in these transformative technologies. >As a genre, "club sandwiches" came from the social clubs of the 19th century. Blogger Barry Enderwick, of Sandwiches of History , offers "Sunday Morning" viewers this recipe for a club sandwich that, he says, shouldn't work, but actually does, really well! He writes: "Using the word 'sophisticated' in a club sandwich name is a loaded proposition. After all, it suggests that there are going to be some pretty schmancy ingredients involved. One might expect caviar, for example. Yeah, this isn't that. "When you look at the list of ingredients, if you're like me, you'll think that there is no way this is going to work. I mean, ham, peanut butter, American cheese, coconut, avocado – this sounds bonkers, but trust me, it works. The nuttiness of the peanut butter plays as well with the sweet elements like pineapple and coconut as it does with the savory ones like ham and bacon. You must give this one a go. "If you can't (or don't want to) get American cheese from the deli, use a mild cheddar instead." The Sophisticated Club Sandwich Adapted from "Good Housekeeping's Book of Bread and Sandwiches" (1958) Ingredients: 4 slices white sandwich bread Unsalted butter, softened 1 slice American cheese from the deli 1 thin slice baked ham 1 large, canned pineapple slice, drained 2 Tablespoons (32 g) smooth peanut butter 2 Tablespoons (8 g) flaked, unsweetened coconut 3 slices crisp bacon 1 thin slice tomato Salt and pepper 11⁄2-inch (3-cm) thick slice avocado Instructions: In a toaster oven or toaster, toast the bread slices to a light golden brown. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. On one slice of toast, buttered-side up, place the American cheese, ham, then pineapple. Top with a second slice of toast, buttered-side down, and spread peanut butter on top. Sprinkle on the unsweetened coconut. Top with a third slice of toast and add the bacon and tomato. Season with a little salt and pepper, and then add the avocado. Top with final slice of toast, buttered-side down. Take a sec to marvel at what you have made, then slice diagonally and dig in. Plus Ups Chipotle Powder If you've been following Sandwiches of History for any length of time, you've likely seen chipotle powder used as a "plus up" on multiple occasions. I just love the smoky heat that this stuff brings. And it gets to show off how it works with both the sweet and the savory elements in a sandwich. If you wanted a milder route, try ancho chile powder. It won't have the smokiness and will have more of a raisiny flavor, but it will still bridge the sweet/savory divide.
