Tottenham, under the guidance of their ambitious manager, has been looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season. The opportunity to sign a player of Davies' caliber is seen as a major coup for the North London club, who are determined to challenge for top honors in both domestic and European competitions. The offer made by Tottenham is said to be in line with the player's market value and includes various incentives to entice him to make the move. However, as the game progressed, a surprising trend started to emerge – Mbappe was repeatedly caught offside. In fact, the young French forward was flagged offside a total of 8 times throughout the match. It was a puzzling sight for Real Madrid fans and neutrals alike, as Mbappe's offside runs seemed to disrupt the flow of Real Madrid's attacks and squander promising scoring opportunities. As the football world eagerly awaits the momentous match against Atletico Madrid, the anticipation continues to build. The eyes of the world will be on this young Chinese player as he steps onto the pitch and takes his place among giants of the game. The journey to this point has been paved with determination, talent, and unwavering commitment – qualities that exemplify the spirit of football and the power of dreams.

The Cleveland/Bradley County Public Library's adult programming department, in conjunction with the Cleveland Police Department, recently held a scam awareness seminar, where Cleveland Police Department Office Jennifer Samples discussed the latest scams that target senior adults, according to Kathy Davini, the library's adult programming coordinator. Davini said Samples' seminar reviewed what to do if one's identity is stolen. "It was super informative," Davini said. "There were great tips offered on how to stay safe and keep your loved ones safe when using computers. Those that attended were so happy to have had the chance to learn the tips and what to be observant of to stay safe." The next scam awareness seminar will be held next October at the library. On Jan. 28, Davini said Samples will be teaching a two-hour self-defense class for women. The class will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. "She will teach what to do and how to be ready for any kind of attack," Davini said. The library's yoga and exercise classes "have been a lot of fun and a huge success," Davini said. "Many residents have not only worked on fitness but have met new friends along the way," she said. The exercise class is conducted by the YMCA from 1 to 2 p.m. every Tuesday and alternates classes from Zumba to strength building. Yoga is offered every Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. "The only thing you need is a towel or yoga mat," Davini said. "All programming offered by the library is free. There are many things happening for adults at the library that people are unaware of." The library has an adult programming page on the calendar of the library website at . "There are calendars available for pickup inside the library, as well," Davini said. Beginning in January, Chill and Spill (coffee and conversation) will start immediately after the yoga class at 10:30 a.m. in the library's cafe. "It will be a nice time to visit and relax with new and old friends," Davini said. She said the library's Fun Fiction Book Club has been a huge success where the participants bring snacks and enjoy discussing the current book being read. "The monthly book is listed on the library website," Davini said. "You can join in, check it out, listen and then decide if you would like to join." She said the group "reads fun fiction, meaning no horror, heavy or depressing books." "They are reading a lighthearted Christmas story for the December meeting, which is held from 6 to 8 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month. Davini said another book club, Crossover, meets at 7 p.m. on the fourth Friday of each month, where books for young adults and older are read. A new Adult Anime club meets at 6 p.m. the first Tuesday of the month. "They will read, discuss, eat Japanese snacks and more," Davini said. The Southeastern Writer's Alliance meets at 5 p.m. the fourth Monday of each month. "They help each other with story and character development," Davini said. "This is an exciting time now as we prepare for out Local Author Book Signing Fair." The Adult Book Signing Fair will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 3. "Each of the 20 authors will have a table decorated to their book theme or genre of writing," she said. "At 5:30, each author will spend a few minutes talking about who they are and their work." Davini said the authors will be selling and signing their books, which she said will make great personal gifts for the holidays or private keepsakes. "We hope the community will come out to meet and support our local authors," she said. "It is a great opportunity to see so many authors in one location, especially before the holidays." Other regular adult programs to begin in January are: • Coloring with Classical Music from 4 to 4:30 p.m. on Mondays. "We will meet upstairs in a smaller, more intimate room and use color pencils with adult creative coloring books as we listen to classical music," Davini said. "This practice promotes relaxation and brain development. There will be time to do this and then roll into game night that happens every Monday at 6 p.m., where there are many different games that you can enjoy playing, whether you bring your own or jump in on a group already playing. They offer everything from cards to board games." • The Foodie Friends Cookbook Club will be held at 6 p.m. the second Tuesday of the month in the library's Hiwassee Room upstairs. "Those interested in cooking or learning to cook will gather and discuss cookbooks, recipes and eating," Davini said. "Each month will focus on a different topic. There might be tastings as some bring samples and recipes to try and share. This is a lively group, so be prepared!" • Garden Groupies will hold their first meeting the second Tuesday each month from 5 to 6:30 p.m. "The first meeting will be discussing how to have your soil prepared for spring planting," Davini said. "All three local garden clubs will come together and welcome new members into the gardening community." On Jan. 21, the library is offering a college enrollment seminar. "This will help new students going to college or adults interested in further education," Davini said. "Application completion will be a topic as well as what is needed for application submission, senior adult education offerings and more. She said representatives from Cleveland State Community College, Chattanooga State Community College and Lee University will be on hand to discuss enrollment 101 and more. Additionally, Davini said a three-day career development program will be held Sept. 24-26. "The first day will focus on resume building, what to include, and how to write it," she said. "The second day we will go over what to expect in a job interview, how to respond and how to dress." On the third day, Davini said mock interviews will be conducted by companies that are hiring.SBA Administrator Guzman Hosts Inaugural Artificial Intelligence Small Business Summit at Georgia Tech
