The publication of this new price signal, which will be updated weekly, is made on the website , created to host all MIBGAS actions in the field of renewable gases. The working group created earlier this year and led by MIBGAS has participated in the development of the methodology to calculate a reference price for renewable hydrogen that reflects a reliable, robust, non-manipulable and representative cost-based signal. The MIBGAS IBHYX reflects the production cost of renewable hydrogen, that is, the minimum price at which a producer is willing to sell to achieve the expected profitability. In other words, the price signal of the offer ( ) of renewable hydrogen produced in the Iberian Peninsula in a typical electrolysis plant. This signal represents the levelized cost of producing renewable hydrogen in accordance with the criteria established in the European Union’s delegated acts of the for the production of RFNBO (Renewable Fuel of Non Biological Origin) hydrogen. The methodology employed is based on production costs, focusing initially on defining and unifying criteria to determine the production price of this energy vector in Iberia, as represented by the MIBGAS IBHYX index. The next step will be to determine the demand price (bid), which reflects the price an off-taker is willing to pay for renewable hydrogen. The gap or differential between these two prices will indicate the level of liquidity in this nascent market. MIBGAS is firmly committed to advancing the development of the renewable gases market and, specifically, renewable hydrogen, which is currently almost non-existent. For this reason, it created a working group at the beginning of this year to develop the necessary tasks for the definition of the renewable hydrogen price index in Iberia, due to the advantage that the territory has for being a competitive renewable energy producer. The result of this work is the MIBGAS IBHYX index. The group is composed of Spanish and Portuguese stakeholders involved in the hydrogen value chain, including producers, retailers, consumers, shippers, academic institutions and representatives of organizations such as the National Commission for Markets and Competition (CNMC), the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge and the Spanish Institute for the Diversification and Saving of Energy (IDAE). This group has met in five sessions where the definition of a model plant representative of a renewable hydrogen production project in the Iberian Peninsula, all its parameters, as well as the methodology for calculating the levelized cost of hydrogen (LCOH) model, built from the costs and revenues necessary to obtain a certain return on investment in the defined model plant, have been the focus of the different meetings. The calculation model adopted by MIBGAS to obtain the LCOH is more advanced than the traditional calculation model as it also contemplates all the financial variables associated with the project of the reference hydrogen production plant, as well as those related to the cost of renewable electricity production through the dedicated plant and the one taken from the grid, necessary to calculate the cost of renewable electricity. Detailed information on the adopted model can be found in the micrositedeveloped by MIBGAS, MIBGAS has developed a microsite along with a unique brand identity that will be used in its renewable gases initiatives. The website will include information about renewable gases and energy efficiency. The MIBGAS IBHYX index, which represents the levelized cost of renewable hydrogen production, will be published weekly on the microsite, as well as the calculation methodology, the evolution of the index and a downloadable file with the historical data. The company posted a 13% rise in sales to 14,379 units in the nine months till September. “Mercedes-Benz India is confident of continuing the growth momentum in CY2025 and focus on consolidating our gains made in 2024, with new product introductions and market expansion,” said Iyer. Rival BMW India’s sales grew by about 5% to a record 10,556 vehicles during the January to September period. Audi India, though, is likely to end the year with an estimated 16% drop in sales due to non-availability of certain models and parts, as per S&P Global Mobility’s sales forecast. Audi India said it is geared up to revive sales next year. “We are prepared for 2025 with a product pipeline which has long been loved and desired by Indian consumer. Our focus on customer centricity will continue to drive our efforts to deliver exceptional experiences and set benchmarks for luxury mobility in India,” said Dhillon. Luxury cars currently have a little over 1% market share in India—the lowest among major economies. The country however offers ample growth potential given it is home to one of the highest number of billionaires worldwide, industry experts said. Between 2023 and 2028, India will witness the highest increase for any country in the number of ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), with a net worth of $30 million or more, as per Knight Frank’s flagship study, ‘The Wealth Report 2024’. The number of ultra-rich Indians is expected to surge by 50% to 19,908 in 2028 from 13,263 in 2023. India will be followed by China (47%), Türkiye (42.9%), and Malaysia (35%), according to the report. MSNBC host Rev. Al Sharpton asked Vice President Kamala Harris on how she believes she'll be seen in 50 years while reflecting on her 60th birthday Sunday. The growing scandal plaguing MSNBC host Rev. Al Sharpton has been "ricocheting around the halls" of 30 Rock with his colleagues calling it a "bridge too far" for them, Fox News Digital has learned. On Tuesday, MSNBC said it was "unaware" that Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign paid $500,000 to Sharpton’s National Action Network nonprofit ahead of a friendly interview with the Democratic nominee just weeks before the election. "MSNBC was unaware of the donations made to the National Action Network," an MSNBC spokesperson told the Washington Free Beacon , which first broke the story. Harris sat down for a friendly interview on Oct. 20 with Sharpton, an open supporter of Harris and the Democratic Party. Following Harris’ defeat to President-elect Donald Trump, FEC filings revealed the Harris campaign gave two $250,000 donations to Sharpton’s nonprofit organization in September and October. However, the MSNBC weekend host did not disclose to viewers the apparent conflict of interest before or after the interview. Neither did he disclose the donations to his bosses at the network, according to the Free Beacon. "No one's surprised that anybody at MSNBC was rooting for Harris. This feels like another level of nonsense. Like, you're kidding me, right? This is weird," the current MSNBC employee reacted to Fox News Digital. "Harris could have given Al Sharpton an interview, and it would have gone the same way. But what are you paying for?... There's no way that this can't seem weird." MSNBC WAS ‘UNAWARE’ HARRIS CAMPAIGN. "There is a sense among the people I've spoken to that this feels like something wrong and that something should be done about it," the MSNBC employee said. "I don't know what that something is... How does half a million dollars change hands?... How can you possibly think you're holding somebody to account in an interview when they donate money to you? We're told not to take tickets to a ballgame!" "It's got a real bulls--- feel to it. People who like Al and respect him and understand what his value is... it ranges from disappointment to disgust. You're not gonna sway my opinion for tickets to a ballgame but for half a million dollars? You might!" The Lions (10-1) are streaking one direction, the Bears (4-7) the other in the first matchup of the season between teams on opposite ends of the division. Riding a nine-game winning streak, their longest since a 10-game streak during their first season in Detroit in 1934, the Lions are burdened by losses in their traditional Thanksgiving Day game the past seven seasons. Three of the defeats are courtesy of Chicago. The Bears and Lions get together for the 20th time on Thanksgiving -- the Bears have 11 wins -- this week in the first of two meetings between the teams in a 25-day span. Detroit goes to Soldier Field on Dec. 22. "I think there's two things," Campbell said of the Thanksgiving losing streak. "Number one -- Get a W. And it's a division win that's why this huge. Number two is because the players are going to get a couple of days off. So, they have family, friends in, it'd be nice to feel good about it when you're with everybody because it's just not real fun. It's not real fun to be around." Detroit (10-1) owns the best record in the NFC but the Lions aren't even assured of a division title. Minnesota sits one game behind them and Green Bay is two games back. The Bears (4-7) sit in last place and would likely need to run the table to have any chance of making the playoffs. The Lions have been dominant in all phases and haven't allowed a touchdown in the past 10 consecutive quarters. Detroit's offense ranks first in points per game (32.7) and second in total yardage (394.3) The Lions defense has not given up a touchdown in the last 10 quarters. Rookie placekicker Jake Bates has made all 16 of his field goal attempts, including four from 50-plus yards over the past three games. Chicago shows up in a foul mood. The Bears are saddled with a five-game losing streak and Chicago's defense has been destroyed for nearly 2,000 total yards in the last four games. The Bears failed to reach the 20-point mark four times in five outings since they last won a game. In their latest defeat, rookie quarterback Caleb Williams and the offense perked up but they lost to Minnesota in overtime, 30-27. "We have to play complementary football for us to be able to win these games," coach Matt Eberflus said. "The games we have won, we have done that. The games we have been close we've missed the mark a little bit. Over the course of the year, it's been one side or the other, this side or that side. In this league you have to be good on all sides to win. That's what we are searching for." Williams threw for 340 yards and two touchdowns without an interception. The wide receiver trio of DJ Moore, Keenan Allen and Romeo Odunze combined for 21 receptions and two touchdowns while tight end Cole Kmet caught seven passes. "What I've been impressed with is just how he has grown," Campbell said. "He has grown every game but these last two I really feel like he's taken off and what they're doing with him has been really good for him and he just looks very composed. He doesn't get frazzled, plays pretty fast, and he's an accurate passer, big arm, and he's got some guys that can get open for him." Detroit's banged-up secondary could be susceptible against the Bears' veteran receivers in their bid to pull off an upset on Thursday. The Lions put two defensive backs on injured reserve in the past week and top cornerback Carlton Davis isn't expected to play due to knee and thumb injuries.
