Lucknow: In a major reversal of the trend witnessed in the Lok Sabha polls in Uttar Pradesh, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance on Saturday won seven of the nine assembly seats that went to bypolls and restricted the Samajwadi Party (SP) to merely two seats. While the BJP won Ghaziabad, Kundarki, Khair, Katehari, Majhawan and Phulpur, its ally the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) retained Meerapur.
