One of the most common reasons people decide to quit coffee is to improve their sleep. Coffee is a stimulant that can disrupt your sleep patterns, making it difficult to fall asleep and stay asleep. After one month of abstaining from coffee, you may notice that you are falling asleep more easily and enjoying a more restful night's sleep. This is because your body no longer has to contend with the stimulating effects of caffeine.Blocking Chinese spies from intercepting calls? There ought to be a lawToronto's Ryan Reaves isn't the only tough Reaves in the family, and his brother Jordan has called out Darnell Nurse after Ryan's suspension. Although perhaps not as well known as his brother Ryan or father Willard, Jordan Reaves has carved out a great career in professional football. Equally as tough, he made his name as a strong special teams defender and is currently a free agent. So in his free time, he's been watching his older brother and the Maple Leafs get out to a hot start this season as the team sits first in the Atlantic Division, with no signs of slowing down no matter what gets thrown in their way. So Jordan must have been extra peeved when his brother was not only ejected for his hit on Darnell Nurse but got slapped with a five-game suspension. It didn't take long for him to give his take on the matter. Taking umbrage with Nurse's comments that Reaves was malicious and was looking to inflict some type of damage, Jordan correctly pointed out that if Nurse was looking down, how could he see Reaves's intent? Maybe Reaves gets shoved into Nurse or tries to take a different angle and can't stop in time as Nurse tucks his head. How would Nurse know? That's the mindset of Reaves and it's understandable why. The NHL has had a very big problem recently with these types of hits, and Toronto was on the receiving end when Matthew Knies got rocked. But so many players are playing with their heads down and it's costing them. There is also an onus on players to not exploit those with their heads down, and your goal isn't to hurt people but to make a statement. It's been so bad, the NHL recently released a video explanation of why Reaves and Tanner Jeannot were both suspended, and there was already a reason why Knies' hit got a non-call. While some may argue that Reaves has no business speaking out about this because he's not a player or in the game; it's still his family. Those critics would be somewhat correct though, and Jordan Reaves needs to understand that his brother has had previous fines and suspensions for these types of incidents. Suspended a total of 11 combined games through three suspensions and has forfeited over $50,000 of his salary due to those suspensions and various fines. It is unknown if Nurse is going to fire back at Jordan Reaves or not, and would more than likely rather put this whole ordeal to rest. But as long as Ryan Reaves is still enforcing his brand of hockey, his brother is always going to support him no matter the circumstances. While such match-ups are not uncommon in cup competitions, the prospect of a David vs Goliath battle on the football pitch has captured the imagination of fans and pundits alike.
Salah nervelessly converted a 63rd-minute penalty, his 16th goal of the season, after French referee Benoit Bastien had been advised to take another look at Donny van de Beek’s clumsy challenge on Luis Diaz. In the process, he became just the 11th man to score 50 goals in the competition – Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe later also joined that exclusive club – on a night when victory at the Estadi Montilivi meant the six-time European champions will enter 2025 sitting proudly at the top of the table. France international Michael Olise produced a moment of magic to set the seal on Bayern Munich’s demolition of Shakhtar Donetsk and ease them towards the knockout stage. Olise’s brilliant stoppage-time run and finish capped a 5-1 victory for the Germans, in which he had early scored from the penalty spot, in Gelsenkirchen. Kevin’s fifth-minute strike had given the home side the perfect start, but Konrad Laimer levelled before Thomas Muller’s 55th goal in the competition sent the visitors in ahead at the break and set the stage for Olise’s double either side of Jamal Musiala’s strike. Jude Bellingham breathed life back into Real Madrid’s campaign as they held off Atalanta to earn a 3-2 victory in Bergamo. After Charles De Ketelaere had cancelled out Mbappe’s opener from the penalty spot, second-half goals from Vinicius Junior and Bellingham in quick succession put the visitors in charge, although Ademola Lookman’s 65th-minute strike meant the contest was alive until the final whistle. Ross Barkley took Aston Villa a step closer to automatic qualification with a late winner against RB Leipzig in Germany. Villa had led twice through John McGinn and Jhon Duran, but equalisers from Lois Openda and Christoph Baumgartner kept Leipzig in it until substitute Barkley struck five minutes from time to snatch a 3-2 victory. Goals from Goncalo Ramos, Nuno Mendes and substitute Desire Doue – his first in the competition – handed French champions Paris St Germain a much-needed three points after a comfortable 3-0 win at RB Salzburg. Nordi Mukiele left it late to end Inter Milan’s unbeaten Champions League record as Bayer Leverkusen claimed a dramatic 1-0 victory at the BayArena. Mukiele struck in the 90th minute to inflict a first defeat across six games in this season’s competition on the Serie A champions – it was also the first goal they have conceded. Casper Nielsen came off the bench to fire Club Brugge to a 2-1 home victory over Sporting Lisbon after Eduardo Quaresma’s own goal had handed them a way back into the game following Geny Catamo’s early opener. Julien Le Cardinal’s first-half strike was enough to handed Brest a 1-0 victory over Eredivisie leaders PSV Eindhoven, while Kasper Schmeichel’s save from Marko Pjaca’s close-range 80th-minute header ensured Celtic returned from Dinamo Zagreb with a 0-0 draw.An Idaho beauty salon owner and mother of three, Tiffney Prickett, recently went viral on TikTok for calling Trump supporters racist, homophobic, and misogynistic. As a result, her salon Voire in Coeur d'Alene is facing a boycott from disgruntled Republicans and even long-term clients. In her video , Prickett, 40, said, 'Trump basically gave small men the ability and the courage to be misogynistic and hateful.' As a prime example of this behaviour, Prickett mentioned 'your body, my choice', a viral slogan coined by Nick Fuentes after Trump's re-election. Prickett emphasised her concern for women, questioning why more men do not speak out against disrespectful and sexist behaviour. She explained that in her experience as a woman, only two men have ever stood up for her when she told them that another man was making her uncomfortable. Most of the time, according to Prickett, men shrug off these incidents. 'I don't know why men witness aggressions towards women, and they just stand idly by and so nothing,' Prickett said. 'I don't understand it.' In a follow-up video , Prickett shared that some long-term clients no longer felt comfortable visiting her salon due to her views, recounting how a client sent her husband to demand a refund for pre-purchased gift cards. Prickett offered the refund despite not normally doing so, just to be able to cut ties with the family, which Prickett knew to be entirely Republican. 'I don't have a problem with you being a Republican,' she added. 'I have a problem with you stripping Human Rights away.' In the video, she explains how important interracial marriage, same-sex marriage, transgender rights, and reproductive rights are to her. She argues that supporting a person with racist, homophobic, and misogynistic views implies that one condones those attitudes, effectively aligning oneself with them. The video's caption read, 'It's not politics, it's Human Rights.' In another video , Prickett doubled down on her stance even further. 'I do not support racism, homophobia, misogyny, xenophobia, SA (sexual assault) of women and children... I don't support any of that,' she said. 'And so, if you need me to quiet down so that you feel better about your decision to vote for someone who has done all those things, I'm not going to do it. I'm not going to silence myself for your comfort. I said what I said; I stand by what I said.' Prickett observed Trump supporters have been 'dropping like flies' as a result of the boycotts. She has also received an influx of online backlash and harassment. In particular, users on X (formerly Twitter) voiced their discontent at the salon owner's statements. Amidst the backlash, Prickett has removed her salon's website. Some of her liberal followers have suggested she move her business to a blue state, as Idaho is 45.19% Republican as of this year's election. A Memphis florist, Kristin Wolter, 49, announced on her now-private Instagram that she would not do business with Donald Trump supporters following his re-election. Wolter, the owner of Everbloom Designs, explained that this decision stems from her desire to create a 'safe place' for herself, her staff, and her family. Wolter's statements sparked controversy, leading to threats against her and her business, which forced her to close the shop for a week. Among these threatening messages were legal threats, but there are no protections against discrimination due to political affiliation under Tennessee law. As a result of the backlash, all social media accounts for Everbloom Designs are now private. Similar to Prickett, Wolter's business decision incited criticism on X.Refund Brother's humility and positivity serve as a refreshing reminder that one's personal struggles do not define the entire landscape of an industry. His willingness to acknowledge his limitations while also celebrating the successes he achieved highlights a maturity that is often overlooked in today's fast-paced, hypercompetitive online world.
