For a while, there was a chance the teams could meet twice, with a conference championship clash coming before the regularly scheduled Army-Navy game, but that didn't happen. Their most prominent common opponent came from outside the league. Notre Dame handed both Navy and Army its first loss, beating the Midshipmen 51-14 and the Black Knights 49-14. Within the AAC, both teams beat Temple, UAB and East Carolina. Army beat Tulane and Rice and Navy lost to those two teams. Army and Navy also each won its nonconference game against Air Force. Those victories over Air Force mean this season's Commander-In-Chief's Trophy comes down to the Army-Navy game. It's the first time since 2017 that both teams enter this game with a shot at the trophy. It's also the first time since 2017 that both teams enter the game with bowl bids secured. Navy faces Oklahoma in the Armed Forces Bowl and Army takes on Marshall in the Independence Bowl. This year's Army-Navy game is at the Washington Commanders' home stadium in Landover. It was also held there in 2011. This is the first time the game has been in Maryland since Baltimore hosted it in 2016. Baltimore is also up next in 2025. Army quarterback Bryson Daily has 29 rushing touchdowns this season, which is tied for the FBS lead with running back Ashton Jeanty, Boise State's Heisman finalist. The film released in Feb was set in the aftermath of India's decision to decriminalize same-sex relationship. "The idea behind making the film was to address the issue, which still considered as a taboo but very much rampant in our society. Due to social stigma, people fear to express their innate desires and hide it from the society. Interestingly enough, on the same day the film was released one of my relative in London attended a same-sex marriage in London. Although the film was not a commercial hit, if it has inspired at least a single person to express their love they believe, is a bigger success for me," Borthakur said. Khanjan Kishore Nath, who directed "Ata Nirjon Duporiya", explored the plight of a young couple who plans to spend some intimate moments together and while doing so they become victim of taboo where the system exploits them. We always knew when we had kids that we would move back to Bunbury — we both had amazing, adventurous childhoods, were able to walk to school and of course had lots of family support. When we fell pregnant with twin boys — sooner than we expected — the move back down south felt a bit abrupt and forced, but boy am I glad now that we did it straight away. Heading into the school holidays there is so much for us to do around Bunbury and the South West for our adventurous, ocean loving twin boys. Being surrounded by so much water, there’s somewhere for us to go fishing, crabbing and even hunting for yabbies no matter which way the wind is going. I always tell my friends, if you’re looking for me I’m probably out at The Cut flipping rocks hunting for rock crabs. We kicked off the holidays with a few day trips down to the Huts beach off Stratham. My husband is a free diver and of course we needed to stock up on crays for Christmas. The kids and I even all pile on to the stand up paddle board and paddle out to the reef, it’s like floating over an aquarium. It’s been a big busy year for our family so a secluded getaway out of reception was just what we needed. We are heading out to Bridgetown which is only just over an hour from Bunbury to stay at Into The Wild Escapes. My grandma grew up in Bridgetown and it’s a relaxed, family friendly town. We plan to swing past The Cidery which is known for natural cider and hearty, locally-inspired meals. From there we’ll head down to the Blackwood River park, which has plenty of shade, and after running wild on the playground we will see if we can spot some yabbies in the river before we head to accommodation for an outdoor bath on the deck. In January we will be heading to another one of our favourite spots in the South West, Augusta. My family has been going there for 25 years and every January, they re-book the same sites at Flinders Bay caravan park for a couple weeks of coastal walks, bakery runs and a lot of diving and fishing. As we have all grown up and started our own families, we have all come and gone as it suited us with work, kids and our own responsibilities, but we all make an effort to get down there. Flinders Bay Caravan Park is walking distance to the beach, with a beautiful bay for snorkelling, a pontoon for the bigger kids and a playground for the little ones. If it’s too windy down the beach, you can head around the river mouth — protected and the perfect spot for canoeing, fishing and is also super popular for kite surfing. Or, jump in your car for a 15 minute drive to Hamelin Bay. Living in Bunbury and exploring the South West has been the best decision for our family. The blend of adventure, ocean views, and family traditions has created a childhood for our boys that is as magical as ours once were. Whether it’s crabbing at The Cut, paddling out over reef aquariums, or enjoying an unplugged getaway in Bridgetown, this region offers endless memories waiting to be made. United Nations, Dec 24: The UN Security Council has expressed ‘deep concern’ over the deteriorating crises in Haiti, condemning the continued gang violence and calling for solidarity with the Haitian people. In a press statement, the members of the Security Council reiterated their deep concern over the ongoing and deteriorating political, economic, security, human rights, humanitarian and acute food insecurity and nutrition crises in Haiti, as well as restrictions on humanitarian access, and reaffirmed the commitment of the international community to continue to support the people of Haiti. The council members strongly condemned the continued destabilizing criminal activities of armed gangs and emphasized the need for the international community to redouble its efforts to provide humanitarian assistance to the population and to support the Haitian National Police, including building its capacity to restore law and order through the Multinational Security Support Mission. In particular, they strongly condemned the reports that an armed gang had killed at least 184 people between December 6 and 8 in the Wharf Jeremie neighbourhood in the capital of Port-au-Prince. The council members emphasized the need to create security conditions conducive to an inclusive political process and free and fair elections in Haiti and encouraged the mission to accelerate its deployment, as well as support for the mission. The council members reiterated their condemnation and deep concern over the serious gravity and rising numbers of abuses committed against children in Haiti, recalled the importance of ensuring the protection of children and urged all actors, especially gangs and criminal networks, to immediately end and prevent all abuses against children. Moreover, the council members expressed concern over the slow progress on Haiti’s roadmap for restoring democratic institutions. They emphasized the importance of urgent progress in the political transition and urged all political actors to engage constructively to facilitate and progress the holding of free and fair legislative and presidential elections and restore democratic institutions as soon as possible. The council members also expressed grave concern at the continued illicit flow of arms and ammunition to Haiti which remains a key factor of instability and violence, and called for necessary measures to implement the arms embargo.
