That certainly happened to me when moving over to Great American Family, and it was a really hard time, and to be misunderstood in that way was difficult. There was an explosion of backlash after Bure made this comment. Jojo Siwa called her out , Hilarie Burton did too, and many others also shared their thoughts on the matter. People thought the comments were excluding LGBTQ+ stories on the channel, and GLAAD commented on her words , saying they were “irresponsible and hurtful.” Amid all this, Candace Cameron Bure released a statement , writing that she loves everyone of any “race, creed, sexuality, or political party, including those who have tried to bully [her] with name-calling.” Then, a year later, she noted that she’d “never taken those types of punches before,” and all the attention and backlash surrounding what she said was “an ongoing challenge.” Now, she’s moved forward, and she spoke about how Great American Family has grown in the years since this happened, explaining: But what I will say is that we are a relatively new channel. This is only our fourth year in Christmas. Like any new business, you have your core demographic and what you’re looking for, and you’re going to produce the product that will best suit that audience. What really differentiates our channel from some of the other ones out there is that we’re not afraid to talk about God and God’s hand in our lives instead of fate or providence. MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Sam Darnold tossed aside his stoic demeanor for a moment after realizing he was on the videoboard, aggressively twirling a towel to further stoke the crowd's fire after the Minnesota Vikings had pulled away from Kirk Cousins and the Atlanta Falcons late in the game. “I just felt the buzz. That was pure passion, pure joy, man,” Darnold said. Darnold added yet another highlight to his brilliant first season with the Vikings, passing for 347 yards and five touchdowns, both career highs, in a 42-21 victory over the foundering Falcons on Sunday to stretch their winning streak to six games. “It just felt like it was one of those days to keep the gas pedal down,” said coach Kevin O'Connell, who enjoyed his team's first 40-point game in three seasons on the job. Darnold passed for 250 yards after halftime to help the Vikings (11-2) break a 21-all tie early in the fourth quarter and stay one game behind NFC North-leading Detroit with a final-week matchup looming with the Lions. In that trade package , OKC received Danilo Gallinari, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, 2021 first-round pick (Tre Mann), 2022 first-round pick (Jalen Williams), 2023 first-round pick (Jaime Jaquez Jr.), 2023 first-round pick swap, 2024 first-round draft pick (Dillon Jones), 2025 first-round pick swap, 2026 first-round pick. Obviously that trade benefited the Thunder greatly as SGA has turned into one of the top players in the league and JDub has shown he has what it takes to be an All-Star. Moreover, those players helped OKC become the youngest one seed in NBA history last season. However, the major pick to keep an eye out for this season is the 2025 first-round pick swap. In order for the 76ers to get Paul George this year, the Clippers had to include that 2025 pick. That exact pick is currently owned by OKC and is 1-6 protected. More specifically, if that draft pick falls anywhere between one through six, the Sixers own the pick; anything seven and after would convey to the Thunder. Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster Pat McFadden will warn that the Government will fail to deliver if it carries on with business as usual. In a speech in London, he will set out plans for a £100million fund to trial Silicon Valley-style approach to challenges in the public sector. Crack teams will deployed to look at how to drive down use of temporary accommodation in Liverpool and Essex, and improving family support services in Manchester and Sheffield from January. While Mr McFadden will acknowledge "each of these projects is small", he will say "they could rewire the state one test at a time". Tech firm workers will be invited to do a six to twelve-month “tour of duty” in Government to use their skills to help influence reforms. Public service staff like prison governors and social work chiefs will also be invited to take secondments in Whitehall to help ministers deliver Keir Starmer 's plans to change Britain. Mr McFadden will say: "Prison governors, social work heads, directors of children’s services - they are the ones on the ground who can see how things are working, where the obstacles are, and where a policy won’t survive contact with reality. "They have stared the issues and the people that depend on us in the eye, seen how the system has been broken – they have taken the frustrations home with them each week.
