game killer app Want to locate the source of an image, verify its authenticity, or find related images? Then, you may wish to do a reverse image search. With the rise of AI, this has become much easier. I tested over 20 modern solutions and narrowed down 10 of the best reverse image search tools. Here’s everything you need to know: Lenso.ai is my current go to reverse image search tool . It enables you to search for people, places, duplicates, similar, or related images. By analyzing key features, lenso.ai performs image searches with high accuracy and presents only relevant results. Moreover, its keyword and domain filter options let you refine your search for more precise results. The platform’s sorting options also help you quickly find the best and worst match, newest and oldest images, or random ones. Additionally, if you perform an in-depth search, you can save images to Collections for further reference or create Alerts for specific images and get email notifications when new image results come up. Check below for more on how to use lenso.ai effectively. Why Choose lenso.ai? Try lenso.ai TinEye is a long-running reverse image search engine that helps users find the origins of images online. It also helps identify modified versions , higher-resolution versions, and similar images. TinEye lets you search using images instead of keywords , creating a unique digital signature for each image. It then matches this with other indexed images. It boasts over 52 billion indexed images , giving you a high chance of finding exact or similar images. Moreover, it uses image recognition algorithms to identify even heavily edited versions of the original image. As well as uploading an image, you can provide an image URL to conduct your search. Why Choose TinEye? Try TinEye Another specialized reverse image search tool is Image Raider. It’s offered by Infringement Report and is mainly intended to find images that are infringing on copyright law. Nonetheless, it functions like most reverse image search engines. You can simultaneously search for images on Google, Bing, and Yandex, providing a broader range of search results . You can perform batch searches , allowing you to upload 20 images at once. Furthermore, you can specify a specific region to search within, such as worldwide, North America, or Europe. Why Choose SmallSEOTools? Try SmallSEOTools Reverse Image Search Formerly Image Match, Bing Visual Search is Microsoft’s own reverse image search tool. It searches for similar images and related information by using an image as the input . You can take a photo directly on the platform , paste a URL, or upload an image via drag-and-drop. The tool provides related search suggestions based on the content of the input image, helping you discover more relevant information. It also recognizes product images and provides links to websites where you can purchase the product or find more information about it. I like that on the homepage it offers numerous shortcuts, such as identifying dog breeds or pinpoint location . I.e., if you have an image of a landmark but don’t know where it is in real life. Why Choose Bing Visual Search? Try Bing Visual Search If you are a Pinterest user, then its Visual Search and Lens tools can help you find visually related images and content on the platform. The process involves uploading an image or choosing one from Pinterest itself. You can search for images with similar visual characteristics, making it easy to discover new ideas and inspiration. It can also be used in conjunction with Pinterest Lens, which enables you to search for related content by taking a photo or screenshot with your device. Results align with your account history for a tailored experience and results include shoppable pins, which allow you to purchase products . Why Choose Pinterest Visual Search? Try Pinterest Visual Search I couldn’t make a best reverse image tools list without mentioning Google Images. While its main function is to simply search for images by keyword, you can certainly do reverse searches too. All you have to do is click on the camera icon in the search bar to open Lens, then upload an image from your device or provide an image URL to initiate the search. It works by using advanced algorithms to analyze the visual content of the input image, including its colors, shapes, and patterns. The search engine then compares the input image to its vast database of indexed images to identify similar images or related content. In addition to finding visually similar images, Google Lens can also help users identify the source of an image and locate higher resolution versions. Why Use Google Lens? Try Google Lens Similar to Google Lens, Russian search engine Yandex has a visual search feature that’s perfect for reverse image searches . Its powerful technology can identify source images and similar images even when the original has been modified, cropped, or resized. It also provides additional sizes of the same image, making it easier to find the best resolution for their needs. When you upload an image or enter an image URL , Yandex analyzes the visual content of the image. It then ranks results based on their similarity to the input image. Visual Search also provides related content , such as web pages where the image appears. Why Choose Yandex Visual Search? Try Yandex Visual Search CopySeeker is powered by AI and analyzes the pixels of your image to find duplicates and similar images online. You can search via image URL or by uploading an image. Results are shown in a list based on page rank and it identifies the original source with a symbol. This is useful for determining the copyright status of the image or if your own image has been stolen. Depending on the image, you also get additional info such as the date, location, and the organization or individual that created the image or photo. Why Choose CopySeeker? Try CopySeeker FaceCheck.ID takes a slightly different approach to reverse image searching by focusing on people, rather than general images. It uses advanced AI technology to locate people online . By uploading a photo or providing an image URL, you can search for individuals across various sources like social media, news articles, blogs, and videos. Its database contains over 793 million faces and results are displayed with a useful confidence score from 0 to 100. warning indicators appear above search results to alert you of potential concerns, such as known criminals, scammers, and predators. The drag-and-drop interface supports batch uploads , though this is intended for the same person. Why Choose FaceCheck.ID? Try FaceCheck.ID DNSChecker.org also offers a powerful reverse image search tool. It’s powered by major search engines such as Google, Bing, and Yandex. You upload your image or paste a URL and add related keywords . It then uses the image recognition capabilities of these search engines to compare the input image to their respective databases of indexed images. It’s useful for finding the source of an image , related images, and relevant non-image info. The main drawback is it’s much slower than the likes of Lenso.AI or going to Google or Yandex themselves. Why Choose DNS Checker Reverse Image Search? Try DNS Checker Reverse Image Search As my top pick, here’s how to get the most out of lenso.ai for reverse image searching . 1. Goto lenso.ai and drop, paste, or click to upload your image. 2. Agree to the terms and proceed with the search .3. On the results page , you will find duplicates and their sources at the top, related images in the middle, and similar images at the bottom. 4. You can save the search or apply a filter with the buttons below the original image. 5. To sort results , click Show more on a category such as “Duplicates” and click the sort button . 6. To create an alert , go back to the category and click the Alert button . All reverse image search tools have their own pros and cons. However, as an all-round solution, lenso.ai takes the top spot with its powerful search, filtering, sorting, and alert features. TinEye is also a popular choice. And while individual search engines offer their own tools, many third parties combine them into one tool. What’s your favorite reverse image search tool? Let me know in the comments below.

KARACHI: Federal Minister for Petroleum Dr. Musadik Malik criticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) leaders, claiming they do not want the release of their founder, Imran Khan, ARY News reported. Speaking at a news conference here on Sunday, Musadik Malik emphasised that solving public issues is the government’s priority, highlighting that government measures have led to a reduction in inflation, and the stock market is at its highest level in history. He added that the nation must unite against extremism, mentioning that people from Parachinar are sitting on the roads with the bodies of their loved ones, yet there has been no sign of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur going to help them. Musadik Malik also criticised Ali Amin Gandapur for trying to attack Punjab and Islamabad, adding, “What happened to his Do or Die rally today? There are voices everywhere saying ‘Arrest me, take me in.’ Where are all the senior PTI leaders? No rallies are visible in Punjab, Lahore, Faisalabad, and Gujranwala.” Musadik Malik stated that elements opposed to the country’s progress could not digest Pakistan’s growth, questioning the whereabouts of the millions of people PTI claimed would attend its call. “I am in Karachi today, why didn’t people from Sindh show up? Where are the people from Larkana, Karachi, and Hyderabad, who were called upon? A wave is coming from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; let’s see where it goes,” said Musadik Malik The Petroleum Minister further remarked, “PTI’s voters usually show up, but are the leaders hiding somewhere to rest at the KP House? They talk of bloodshed and fire, yet sleep in hotels at night.” Further adding, “They need to explain: what’s coming out of their speeches? Where are the PTI members who haven’t been arrested? They don’t want any discussion on the release of PTI’s founder.” Musadik Malik also questioned the political role of Bushra Bibi, stating, “If she was supposed to be apolitical, then how is she leading rallies? Now it’s clear that she’s no longer apolitical. What happened to your narrative of hereditary politics?” PML-N’s stalwart stated that there were always doubts about whether Bushra Bibi was behind the decisions made by PTI’s founder. “Now it makes sense where the cipher issue came from after waking up at night.” Lastly, he referred to a recent statement made by Bushra Bibi regarding a foreign country, which has led to embarrassment in the global community, particularly impacting Pakistan’s foreign policy. He remarked that many people now believe Bushra Bibi isn’t just entering politics—she’s the one controlling it. Read More: Bushra Bibi, CM Gandapur ‘lead’ PTI convoy to Islamabad It is pertinent to note that, Former first lady, Bushra Bibi and Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa CM Ali Amin Gandapur on Sunday 24 Nov departed for Islamabad with PTI convoy for their planned protest. Earlier it emerged that PTI convoy from Peshawar was delayed amid leadership dispute between Bushra Bibi and Gandapur. According to the schedule, Ali Amin Gandapur was designated to lead the convoy. However, sources report that Bushra Bibi is insisting on taking charge, creating tension within the party ranks. Reportedly, Gandapur argued, “The party founder has stated that you are not involved in politics,” urging Bushra Bibi to remain at home while he leads the convoy. This internal power struggle had stalled the convoy’s departure from Peshawar, further complicating PTI’s plans amid nationwide protests. In response to the PTI protest in Islamabad, authorities have completely sealed the entry and exit points of the twin cities, Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The Philippine went up six spots to 63 rd place out of 133 economies with a score of 49.93 (out of a possible 100) in the 2024 edition of Network Readiness Index (NRI) by the nonprofit research organization Portulans Institute . The South Carolina women's basketball team has been defeated for the first time since March 31, 2023. The No. 1 Gamecocks fell Sunday in Los Angeles as Lauren Betts posted a double-double effort to lead No. 5 UCLA to a 77-62 triumph. The Gamecocks (5-1) suffered their first defeat after 43 consecutive victories, dating back to the loss to Iowa 77-73 in the NCAA Tournament semifinals. South Carolina defeated Iowa last season for the national championship. Betts finished with 11 points, a game-high 14 rebounds, four assists and four blocks to power the Bruins (5-0) to a historic victory. UCLA also got 15 points from Londynn Jones on 5-of-5 shooting from 3-point range, 13 points from Elina Aarnisalo and 11 each from Kiki Rice and Gabriela Jacquez. It's the first time UCLA has beaten South Carolina since 1981. The Bruins lost twice to the Gamecocks in the 2022-23 season, including in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. Te-Hina Paopao had 18 points for South Carolina on 4-of-4 3-point shooting, while Tessa Johnson had 14 points. UCLA won the rebounding battle 41-34, marking the second time this season the Gamecocks have been outrebounded. South Carolina also got outscored in the paint 26-18. It's rare that a Dawn Staley-coached team -- units that typically revolve around dominant centers from A'ja Wilson to Aaliyah Boston to Kamilla Cardoso -- gets beat in the paint and on the glass, but with 6-foot-7 Betts, UCLA had the recipe to outmuscle the Gamecocks in those areas of the game. South Carolina never led after UCLA began the game with an 18-5 run, capped off by back-to-back 3-pointers from Jones. The Gamecocks cut the deficit to nine points in the second quarter, but the Bruins responded with a 17-5 run and entered halftime ahead by 21 points. Aarnisalo scored seven points during that run. From there, the Gamecocks never got within single digits of the lead in the second half. It's the first time in 21 tries that UCLA has beaten an AP-ranked No. 1 team. And it's the first time South Carolina lost a true road game since 2021, a streak of 33 games. The schedule doesn't get any easier for South Carolina. While UCLA faces UT Martin next on Friday, the Gamecocks play No. 8 Iowa State on Thursday. --Field Level Media

Having quit his first trial as he shouted “I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!” and only managed to secure two out of 10 stars in a trial with GK Barry, he was out to prove himself tonight. His third trial saw him locked in a box, similar to his two other trials, where he had to turn stars off a screw using only his mouth and tongue while being accompanied by various critters. Throughout the trial, he had to move from box to box and was met with different critters in each one. He also had to make a chemical reaction while ants were biting his hands. Since Dean is frightened of creepy crawlies and bigger critters, he asked Ant and Dec not to tell him what was joining him in the box which was secured around his head. The trial called Lethal Lab saw the BBC Radio 1 presenter take four stars back to camp. Each star means more food for the celebrity campmates while no stars means they have to eat rice and beans. Going back to camp was a much better experience for Dean this time around as he was able to celebrate with his campmates, knowing he’d supplied food for the camp’s evening meal. On arriving back to camp, Dean was ecstatic with his success in Lethal Lab and the other celebrities celebrated his win with him. After earning four stars, Dean had fish guts put inside the box with him and quit the trial with "I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!" Meanwhile, the campmates were ordered to give up their contraband after McCullough smuggled teabags into the jungle, while Tulisa Contostavlos gave up a bag of seasoning which radio presenter Melvin Odoom had distributed to her. Viewers took to social media platform X to share their thoughts on Dean’s performance. One said the trial was easy: "So they gave him the easiest challenges we’ve ever seen on I’m a Celeb so he can win some stars lol". Another person commented: “He’s actually doing it, I’m surprised." Recommended reading: A third said: "Are you serious?? On the fish guts!" The latest series of I’m A Celebrity has a wide range of popular stars including Danny Jones, Coleen Rooney, Melvin Odoom, Oti Mabuse and Barry McGuigan to name a few. I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! airs every night at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

Kobe Sanders tied a season high with 27 points as Nevada claimed fifth place in the Charleston Classic with a 90-78 victory over Oklahoma State Sunday afternoon in South Carolina. Sanders helped the Wolfpack (6-1) earn a second win following one-possession games against Vanderbilt and VCU. After hitting the decisive 3-pointer with five seconds left in Friday's 64-61 win over VCU, Sanders made 7 of 10 shots, hit three 3s and sank 10 of 13 free throws Sunday. Nick Davidson added 223 points as Nevada led by as many as 19 and shot 58.9 percent. Brandon Love contributed 11 on 5-of-5 shooting as the Wolfpack scored 46 points in the paint and scored at least 85 for the fourth time this season. Marchelus Avery led the Cowboys (4-2) with 15 points and Arturo Dean added 13. Robert Jennings and Abou Ousmane added 11 apiece but leading scorer Bryce Thompson was held to seven points on 1-of-9 shooting as Oklahoma State shot 42 percent and 73.2 percent (30-of-41) at the line. After Avery's 3 forged a 12-12 tie with 13:41 remaining, Nevada gradually gained separation. The Wolfpack took a 24-15 lead on Chuck Bailey's jumper in the paint with 8:28 left but the Cowboys inched back, getting within 33-31 on a dunk by Avery with 4:11 left. Another Bailey jumper staked Nevada to a 40-33 lead by halftime. Nevada began pulling away early in the second half as it scored eight in a row for a 52-40 lead on a basket by Love with 16:44 left. A 3 by Sanders opened a 62-43 lead with 14:06 remaining before Oklahoma State charged back. After Nevada made eight straight shots, the Cowboys countered with 11 straight points and trailed 62-54 with 11:19 left on a 3-pointer by Avery. Thompson made his first basket by sinking a jumper with 10:37 left to get Oklahoma State within 64-56 left, and Keller's triple cut the margin to 70-64 nearly three minutes later. The Cowboys were within 78-72 on a basket by Avery with 3:56 remaining, but he fouled out about a minute later and the Wolfpack outscored Oklahoma State 12-6 the rest of the way as Sanders sank five free throws. --Field Level Media

The mellowing of electric-vehicle adoption hasn’t prevented General Motors from introducing several such models, specifically for the Chevrolet and Cadillac brands. In particular, Chevrolet has three available, including the Blazer EV. A fourth – the Corvette EV – is expected sometime in 2025, with others reportedly in the development stage. The scalable platform, which is used for all GM EVs, large and small, can handle front, rear or front and rear electric motors. For the midsize five-passenger Blazer EV, the prominent nose does have a type of grille, but it’s mostly for aesthetics. The rest of the bodywork shares nothing – as in zero – with the gasoline Blazer, which remains in production. Both are same length, but the EV has about a 23-centimetre advantage in distance between the front and rear wheels. That means easier rear-seat access through the generously sized doors, plus plenty of legroom. Despite the EV’s lower roofline, cargo volume is greater than the gasoline Blazer’s, with the seat upright or folded flat. There’s no storage beneath the hood – commonly called a front trunk or a frunk – for smaller items, which is frequently found in other EVs, such as the Ford Mustang Mach-E. The interior has a 17.7-inch infotainment screen and a fashionably large 11.1-inch driver-information display. Instead of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, the Blazer EV gets Google software. Oversized air vents are positioned on either side of the dashboard and directly above the floor console. The base 300-horsepower LT lists for $57,900, including destination charges. It’s available in front- or all-wheel-drive ($61,400), has a range of 453 and 538 kms, respectively. Equipment includes the usual power features as well as heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, 19-inch wheels and standard active-safety technology such as front and rear emergency braking, active cruise control and blind-spot warning. The 365-horsepower rear-wheel-drive RS ($68,400) can also go up to 538 kms on a charge, but AWD claws that back to 453. The performance-oriented AWD Blazer SS ($73,400) makes 595 horsepower and 645 pound-feet. According to Chevrolet, it can hit 60 mph (96-km/h) from rest in less than four seconds. The range is advertised as 470 kms. For every 10 minutes the Blazer EV is plugged in to a Level 3 DC fast charger, 125 kms of range will be added. With a 240-volt home charger, expect a full top-up overnight. Note that the dual-level charge cord needed for Level 2 and Level 3 use is optional. The RS and SS come with heated and ventilated front seats, heated flat-bottom steering wheel and a hands-free power liftgate. They both have exterior lighting between the grille and the hood that illuminates when the driver approaches. Exclusive to the SS is a head-up driver’s info display (projects information such as speed onto the windshield), a rear-view camera/mirror, Brembo-brand front brakes, premium-grade interior trim and unique 22-inch wheels (21-inch versions are fitted to the RS). Standard with the SS is the latest version of General Motors’ Super Cruise system that allows hands-free driving on more than 640,000 kms of roads in the United States and Canada. GM says that Super Cruise allows the Blazer to safely overtake slower-moving traffic and return to the original lane, all without driver involvement. Chevrolet also says it is creating a Police Pursuit Vehicle model based on the SS, which, given its power output, likely makes the most sense. Given its size, styling, output and variety of trim levels, the Chevrolet Blazer EV has plenty going for it. It also happens to be competitively priced, further enhanced by government rebates. These factors are helping to create increased buyer interest and acceptance in electric vehicles. Is ‘Glicked’ the new ‘Barbenheimer’? ‘Wicked’ and ‘Gladiator II’ collide in theaters

A childcare worker in the Illawarra has no chance of being able to buy a home on their own, according to a report from the Property Council of Australia. Black Friday Sale Subscribe Now! Login or signup to continue reading Called Beyond Reach, the report looked at housing affordability for essential workers on typical incomes in 12 LGAs across NSW, including Wollongong. The report noted that, in 2007, the proportion of income an Illawarra childcare worker needed to buy a house was already at an impossible 109 per cent. In 2024 that has jumped to 131 per cent, making home buying "beyond hope", the study said. A primary school teacher needed to put 47 per cent of their income towards buying a home in 2024, up from 37 per cent in 2007, while Wollongong police officer needed to set aside a whopping 83 per cent of their income. "Housing affordability has hit breaking point for essential workers in the region, with a median priced home now beyond reach and in some cases beyond hope," Property Council of Australia Illawarra Shoalhaven Regional Director Michelle Guido said. "In 2007, the median house price in Wollongong was $379,000. Today, it's soared to $1,000,000 - a staggering 164 per cent increase. At the same time, wages for essential workers have failed to keep pace." While prices have climbed 164 per cent, wage growth over the same time sat at 87 per cent, the report stated. Ms Guido said median weekly rents in Wollongong had risen by 117 per cent over the same period. For a single income household with an average gross income of $100,000 buying a home or unit was "beyond reach", while renting a house was classed as "unaffordable". A dual income family on $160,000 would also find buying a home to be beyond reach, the report stated. Ms Guido said one of the primary solutions was increasing the supply of new housing, particularly homes that are affordable for essential workers. This could be achieved by financial incentives to stimulate housing projects aimed at essential workers. "Our recommendations include calls for reform of the high taxes and regulatory costs that impact housing affordability, together with a moratorium on any new development charges," Ms Guido said. "These changes would lower the upfront cost of new dwellings and stimulate competition among developers, leading to increased supply and lower prices. "Without immediate reform, essential workers will continue to be locked out of the housing market, further straining public services and exacerbating social inequality." “Barbenheimer” was a phenomenon impossible to manufacture. But, more than a year later, that hasn’t stopped people from trying to make “Glicked” — or even “Babyratu” — happen. The counterprogramming of “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer” in July 2023 hit a nerve culturally and had the receipts to back it up. Unlike so many things that begin as memes, it transcended its online beginnings. Instead of an either-or, the two movies ultimately complemented and boosted one another at the box office. This combination of images shows promotional art for "Gladiator II," left, and "Wicked." And ever since, moviegoers, marketers and meme makers have been trying to recreate that moment, searching the movie release schedule for odd mashups and sending candidates off into the social media void. Most attempts have fizzled (sorry, “Saw Patrol” ). This weekend is perhaps the closest approximation yet as the Broadway musical adaptation “Wicked” opens Friday against the chest-thumping sword-and-sandals epic “Gladiator II.” Two big studio releases (Universal and Paramount), with one-name titles, opposite tones and aesthetics and big blockbuster energy — it was already halfway there before the name game began: “Wickiator,” “Wadiator,” “Gladwick” and even the eyebrow raising “Gladicked” have all been suggested. “'Glicked' rolls off the tongue a little bit more,” actor Fred Hechinger said at the New York screening of “Gladiator II” this week. “I think we should all band around ‘Glicked.’ It gets too confusing if you have four or five different names for it.” As with “Barbenheimer," as reductive as it might seem, “Glicked” also has the male/female divide that make the fan art extra silly. One is pink and bright and awash in sparkles, tulle, Broadway bangers and brand tie-ins; The other is all sweat and sand, blood and bulging muscles. Both films topped Fandango’s most anticipated holiday movie survey, where 65% of respondents said that they were interested in the “Glicked” double feature. Theaters big and small are also pulling out the stops with movie-themed tie-ins. B&B Theaters will have Roman guards tearing tickets at some locations and Maximus popcorn tubs. Marcus Theaters is doing Oz photo ops and friendship bracelet-making. Alamo Drafthouse is leaning into the singalong aspect (beware, though, not all theaters are embracing this) and the punny drinks like “Defying Gravi-Tea.” This image released by Universal Pictures shows Cynthia Erivo, left, and Ariana Grande in a scene from the film "Wicked." “Rather than it being in competition, I think they’re in conversation,” “Gladiator II” star Paul Mescal said. “This industry needs a shot in the arm. Those films gave it last year. We hope to do it this year.” And the hope is that audiences will flock to theaters to be part of this moment as well. It's a sorely needed influx of could-be blockbusters into a marketplace that's still at an 11% deficit from last year and down 27.2% from 2019, according to data from Comscore. “Competition is good for the marketplace. It’s good for consumers,” said Michael O'Leary, the president and CEO of the National Association of Theatre Owners. “Having two great movies coming out at the same time is simply a multiplier effect.” “Glicked” is currently tracking for a combined North American debut in the $165 million range, with “Wicked” forecast to earn around $100 million (up from the $80 million estimates a few weeks ago) and “Gladiator II” pegged for the $65 million range. “Barbenheimer” shattered its projections last July. Going into that weekend, “Barbie” had been pegged for $90 million and “Oppenheimer” around $40 million. Ultimately, they brought in a combined $244 million in that first outing, and nearly $2.4 billion by the end of their runs. It’s possible “Glicked” will exceed expectations, too. And it has the advantage of another behemoth coming close behind: “Moana 2,” which opens just five days later on the Wednesday before the Thanksgiving holiday. “Glickedana” triple feature anyone? This image released by Paramount Pictures shows Pedro Pascal, left, and Paul Mescal in a scene from "Gladiator II." “These are 10 important days,” O'Leary said. “It’s going to show the moviegoing audience that there’s a lot of compelling stuff out there for them to see.” There are infinite caveats to the imperfect comparison to “Barbenheimer,” as well. “Wicked” is a “Part One.” Musicals carry their own baggage with moviegoers, even those based on wildly successful productions (ahem, “Cats”). “Gladiator II” got a head start and opened internationally last weekend. In fact, in the U.K. it played alongside “Paddington in Peru,” where that double was pegged “Gladdington.” “Gladiator” reviews, while positive, are a little more divided than the others. And neither directors Ridley Scott nor Jon M. Chu has the built-in box office cache that Christopher Nolan’s name alone carries at the moment. The new films also cost more than “Barbie” ($145 million) and “Oppenheimer” ($100 million). According to reports, “Gladiator II” had a $250 million price tag; “Wicked” reportedly cost $150 million to produce (and that does not include the cost of the second film, due next year). The narrative, though, has shifted away from “who will win the weekend.” Earlier this year, Chu told The Associated Press that he loves that this is a moment where “we can root for all movies all the time.” Close behind are a bevy of Christmas releases with double feature potential, but those feel a little more niche. There’s the remake of “Nosferatu,” the Nicole Kidman kink pic “Babygirl” and the Bob Dylan biopic “A Complete Unknown.” The internet can’t even seem to decide on its angle for that batch of contenders, and none exactly screams blockbuster. Sometimes the joy is just in the game, however. Some are sticking with the one-name mashup (“Babyratu”); others are suggesting that the fact that two of the movies feature real-life exes (Timothée Chalamet and Lily-Rose Depp) is enough reason for a double feature. And getting people talking is half the battle. When in doubt, or lacking a catchy name, there’s always the default: “This is my Barbenheimer.” Associated Press journalist John Carucci and Film Writer Jake Coyle contributed reporting. Last summer, Malibu's iconic blonde faced off against Cillian Murphy and the hydrogen bomb in the unforgettable "Barbenheimer" double feature. Copyright 2024 The Associated Press. BERLIN (AP) — Harry Kane scored a hat trick including two penalties for Bayern Munich to beat Augsburg 3-0 in the Bundesliga on Friday. The win stretched Bayern’s lead to eight points ahead of the rest of the 11th round, and Kane took his goals tally to a league-leading 14. The England forward is the fastest player to reach 50 goals in the Bundesliga in what was his 43rd game. However, coach Vincent Kompany should be concerned by his team’s ongoing difficulty of scoring in matches it dominates. Bayern previously defeated St. Pauli and Benfica only 1-0. Kompany’s team had to wait until stoppage time before Kane sealed the result with his second penalty. Two minutes later, Kane scored with a header after controlling Leon Goretzka's cross with his first touch for a flattering scoreline. “We had to be patient,” Kane said. “And at halftime that’s what we said, to keep doing what we’re doing. We had a few chances in the first half and we just had to be a bit more clinical and obviously, thankfully, we got the penalty to kind of open the game up.” Mads Pedersen was penalized for handball following a VAR review and Kane duly broke the deadlock in the 63rd. Bayern continued as before with 80% possession, but had to wait for Keven Schlotterbeck to be penalized through VAR for a foul on Kane. Kane sealed the result in the third minute of stoppage time and there was still time for him to grab another. It’s Bayern’s seventh consecutive win without conceding a goal since it conceded four at Barcelona (4-1) on Oct. 23 in the Champions League. “You can see now that we have a solid defense and that's the basis, also in games like today's,” Bayern midfielder Joshua Kimmich said. “When it's a game of patience, then it's important for us to know that sometimes one goal will have to do. Like today we added two more before the finish, but in the end you only need to score one more than the opponent.” Bayern next hosts Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Tuesday, then Borussia Dortmund away in the Bundesliga next weekend, before defending champion Bayer Leverkusen visits in the third round of the German Cup.
