Zookeeper Serena Robbie said the enrichment activities help keep the animals entertained in holiday flair during December. "It's very weird to say, but yes, poo and a stocking is great for our animals," she said. "With the giraffe we really target food because they really enjoy their food, with the cheetah we target their visual audio side of things as well, they really like to use the eyesight because it's their best sense. View + 4 Photos Several animals at the zoo got early Christmas presents. "With the rhino foraging, they do like to find their food, go searching for it as they would out in the wild, and dingoes are just like dogs, they like destroying things, they like finding things and foraging and having lots of fun with their stuff." Threat of a hot summer It's not all fun and games over the holiday period, with the zoo wary of scorching temperatures and a potentially dangerous fire season . Ms Robbie said the zoo "learned its lesson" from the 2004 fires that destroyed the surrounding pine forests . "[Bushfires are] a bit of a concern but we have put lots of measures in place to try and avoid it," she said. "[In the most recent bushfires] we had all of our animal pet packs ready to go, a plan in place for each animal, whether we were moving them into their dens or moving them off-site completely. "We actually had a school hall lined up for some of the animals that we could just pop them into if we needed to." Iceblocks and aircons Several of the zoo's animals will be kept cool over summer with aircons in their enclosure, including the resident lace monitor and the red panda. The animals have shade in their enclosures and access to their dens on hot days, Ms Robbie said, and the keepers will be serving up the iceblocks over summer. "The giraffes get really big buckets full of like carrots stuck in like water and things like that... meerkats get little icy pops that we hold out for them, which is really cute," she said. "The cheetahs, they get the blood from their meals frozen and given out in little bloodsicles. "We also have lots of misting systems, so you'll find not only the animals but the keepers also standing under the misting systems on a really, really hot day." ( MENAFN - GlobeNewsWire - Nasdaq) NEW YORK, Dec. 26, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Bragar Eagel & Squire, P.C., a nationally recognized stockholder rights law firm, announces that a class action lawsuit has been filed against ASP Isotopes, Inc (“ASP Isotopes” or the“Company”) (NASDAQ: ASPI) in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York on behalf of all persons and entities who purchased or otherwise acquired ASP Isotopes securities between October 30, 2024 and November 26, 2024, both dates inclusive (the“Class Period”). Investors have until February 3, 2025 to apply to the Court to be appointed as lead plaintiff in the lawsuit. Click here to participate in the action. On November 26, 2024, Fuzzy Panda Research published a report which alleged that ASP Isotopes is“using old, disregarded laser enrichment technology to masquerade as a new, cutting-edge Uranium enrichment.” The report quoted a former employee of Klydon (the company ASP Isotopes purchased its“proprietary” technology from) as stating scientists“did not think it would work on Uranium.” The report revealed a series of experts interviewed stated the Company's reported cost estimates and timeline for building its HALEU uranium facilities was misleading to the point of being“delusional.” The report further alleged the Company had significantly overstated the significance of its agreement with TerraPower, which was only a“non-binding” memorandum of understanding entered into to“put pressure on [TerraPower's] real suppliers.” The report quoted a former TerraPower executives as stating that ASP Isotopes was“missing the manufacturing; They are missing the processes as well; They still have to develop the HALEU...the most important part.” Finally, the report revealed that the Company's subsidiary, Quantum Leap Energy, which operates its nuclear fuels segment and to which the Company assigned the TerraPower memoranda of understanding, was completely absent from its registered South African address. The report revealed there were“zero signs” of their presence and“security guards and neighboring business about them all told us they had never heard of the companies.” On this news, the Company's stock price fell $1.80 or 23.53%, to close at $5.85 per share on November 26, 2024, on unusually heavy trading volume. The stock continued to fall on the subsequent trading date, falling $0.83 or 14.19%, to close at $5.02 per share on November 27, 2024, on unusually heavy trading volume. The complaint filed in this class action alleges that throughout the Class Period, Defendants made materially false and/or misleading statements, as well as failed to disclose material adverse facts about the Company's business, operations, and prospects. Specifically, Defendants failed to disclose to investors: (1) the Company overstated the potential effectiveness of its enrichment technology; (2) the Company overstated the development potential of its high assay low-enriched uranium facility; (3) the Company overstated the Company's nuclear fuels operating segment results; and (4) that, as a result of the foregoing, Defendants' positive statements about the Company's business, operations, and prospects were materially misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis. Congratulations America. You got what you wanted. Donald Trump is the president-elect. While it’s difficult to know how he will govern there are clear signs that inform regarding his priorities. · Immigration – How many of us are interested in seeing kids in cages again? · Deportation of undocumented immigrants – top occupations amongst the undocumented labor force include construction laborers, maids and housekeepers, cooks, home health aides, janitors and building cleaners. Who is cleaning your hotel room your next vacation? Who is doing these jobs when they are gone? · Tariffs – Along with the retaliatory actions of other nations, this can and will only have one effect – to increase prices across the board · Tax cuts – Like the previous Trump tax cut, this benefits billionaires and corporations with stock buy-backs, dividend pay-outs to stock holders and profit-taking. How much of the Trump tax cut did you get? Another priority is the elimination of the Department of Education. While there are no specifics yet, it is clear that every community in every state will feel the impact of a dismantling of the DoE – particularly red states. Only Congress can eliminate this cabinet level department, but the president can affect its operations by starving it of funding. The DoE is responsible for designating federal aid, running the $1.6 trillion student loan program, enforcing civil rights laws, handing out Pell Grants, regulating student loan relief, and overseeing the Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) program. Arguably, the most significant role of the DoE is to establish consistency of what a free public education looks like. Leaving this up to each of 50 states would only create gross variations in the quality of education across the country. Key beneficiaries of the DoE are students with disabilities, students about to enter college, and students from lower-income areas, which is more significant across the poorer red states. Where will the next Trump tax cut come from? Elimination the DoE will put $238 billion in play. Within that budget, $119 Billion goes to the states as federal funding. This represents about 14% of the states’ total education funding. If eliminated, it will need to be made up somehow. That means a tax increase for every household in the country or some reasonable facsimile. Connecticut households would need to provide $770 per household to replicate the loss of federal education funding. While billionaires get a tax cut, your taxes go up. In many red states that replacement cost is a thousand dollars or more. There is no other source for these funds. States and localities already incur the other 86% of education funding. So, congratulations America. You got exactly the opposite of what you said you wanted in voting for Donald Trump. With its continuous technology–driven innovative decisions, SUI pushes itself to the position of the next crypto to explode. Recently, SUI pulled $325 million from Ethereum and will add to Bitcoin staking, delaying the rally. Bitcoin has been in the news constantly for its march towards touching $100k. However, it is facing several hurdles and is rallying. SUI is one among them. Conclusion With the crypto market striding towards the bull run, most cryptos are in their appreciating phase.
