Jaipur: Acting against candidates of PTI Recruitment 2022 for submitting fake documents, Rajasthan Staff Selection Board declared 54 of 400 candidates of ineligible and sent a list of 248 candidates to the education department for termination from their positions on Thursday. Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) chairperson Alok Raj said a total of 1,200 candidates are under investigation in the recruitment process. So far, it has been confirmed that 400 candidates used fraudulent documents. The investigation revealed lapses in the board's cross-verification process, which led to these discrepancies According to Raj, positions vacated due to such discrepancies will be added to the backlog and filled in the next recruitment cycle. However, vacancies left by candidates who fail to join will be refilled directly. The irregularities have sparked outrage among genuine candidates. Ramniwas Bishnoi, a candidate from Bikaner, said, "I prepared for this recruitment for six years, and this was my last chance due to the age limit. Despite scoring 229 marks, candidates with 116 marks were selected. The fraudulent appointments have destroyed my hard work." Similarly, Mohan Rajput from Ganganagar said, "I prepared for three years. My family's financial condition is dire, and I pinned my hopes on this job. Candidates with fake degrees nullified my efforts." Jubair Khan, another candidate, claimed he had warned the authorities of potential fraud before the examination. "I informed the board and the government via email, but they ignored it. This isn't the first time; similar fraud occurred in 2013 and 2018," he said. The recruitment drive, which advertised 5,546 posts, required candidates to have completed Class 12 along with a certificate or diploma in physical education. The board is now investigating 100 other suspicious cases and plans to make future recruitment processes more transparent and rigorous. But like other Trump plans, the idea is likely to run into regulatory and legislative hurdles, including a landmark law that requires federal agencies to consider the environmental impact before deciding on major projects. In a post on his Truth Social site Tuesday, Trump said anyone making a $1 billion investment in the United States “will receive fully expedited approvals and permits, including, but in no way limited to, all Environmental approvals.” “GET READY TO ROCK!!!” he added. While Trump did not specify who would be eligible for accelerated approvals, dozens of energy projects proposed nationwide, from natural gas pipelines and export terminals to solar farms and offshore wind turbines, meet the billion-dollar criteria.
