mnl168 free download for android offline Jets aren't ready to send Aaron Rodgers to the sideline as a lost season reaches the home stretchAaron Rodgers celebrated his 41st birthday with the news he’s still the New York Jets’ starting quarterback . That’s hardly a surprise gift, but it ends some of the speculation that has been growing in recent days from some fans and media who were clamoring for change. “We have great belief in Aaron, we really do,” interim coach Jeff Ulbrich said Monday. “And we think he gives us the best opportunity to win.” That’s why the Jets aren’t turning to Tyrod Taylor at this point. Or perhaps even giving practice squad QB Adrian Martinez, the UFL’s MVP last season, a long look. The locker room, from all indications, has remained positive despite the firings of coach Robert Saleh and general manager Joe Douglas a month later. And there’s still belief from his teammates that Rodgers can help them pull out some victories as the season hits the home stretch. “Aaron Rodgers is Aaron Rodgers,” linebacker Jamien Sherwood said. “At the end of the day, he’s still a Hall of Famer to all of us.” But victories have been few and far between for the struggling Jets, who fell to 3-9 on Sunday with a 26-21 loss to Seattle . It was New York’s third straight defeat and eighth in nine games. And it put the Jets perilously closer to the seemingly inevitable reality that they’ll miss the postseason for the 14th straight year, the NFL’s longest active drought. RELATED COVERAGE Justin Tucker’s erratic season isn’t getting any better, and it’s hurting Baltimore’s outlook Rams claim CB Emmanuel Forbes off waivers from Washington Buccaneers are back to .500 and in position to control their playoff hopes down the stretch Not exactly the results the Jets and their frustrated fans expected when New York acquired Rodgers from Green Bay last year. “There are 11 guys on the field,” Rodgers said after the game. “Sometimes it’s my fault. Definitely multiple times today. And then the details aren’t there in some other spots, too.” The AP Top 25 college football poll is back every week throughout the season! Get the poll delivered straight to your inbox with AP Top 25 Poll Alerts. Sign up here . The four-time NFL MVP has dealt with a few injuries to his left leg after coming off the torn Achilles tendon that limited him to four snaps in his Jets debut last year. That, Ulbrich said, has contributed to the struggles of Rodgers and the offense. But Rodgers headed into the game Sunday off the injury report for the first time since Week 4. Some of his scrambles provided proof he was feeling much better. But his overall play was still hurting. Rodgers was 21 of 39 for 185 yards with two touchdown passes and had an interception returned 92 yards for a score by Leonard Williams. Rodgers also failed to get the Jets in position for a winning score in the closing minutes, something he has been unable to do regularly this season. Despite all that, Ulbrich insists he doesn’t have any questions about whether Rodgers can still do the job. “I don’t,” he said, “because I see enough evidence on tape of him still being capable of playing high level football for us.” What’s working Special teams. The Jets got a 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown from Kene Nwangwu, who was elevated from the practice squad before the game, and he also forced a fumble on a kickoff. New York signed him to the active roster Monday. The Seahawks fumbled three times on kickoffs, with the Jets recovering two, including one by kicker Anders Carlson. Quinnen Williams also blocked an extra point. About the only thing that didn’t go right for the Jets’ special teams unit was Carlson having an extra point of his own blocked. What needs help Everything else. The offense finally had a fast start with three touchdowns in New York’s first four drives, but the Jets didn’t score again after that. The defense had some stops but was called for penalties in some big spots, helping extend drives for Seattle. Stock up LT Olu Fashanu. In his second start in place of the injured Tyron Smith, Fashanu excelled by allowing no pressures in 42 pass blocking snaps, according to Next Gen Stats. The first-rounder out of Penn State is likely to start at left tackle the rest of the season. “The more ops to play, the better he gets,” Ulbrich said. “He just builds on each performance and in both phases, both in the run game and pass protection, so, just so excited about the future this guy has.” Stock down Rodgers. He has thrown for 2,627 yards and 19 touchdowns with eight interceptions, but his 6.3 yards-per-pass attempt is the lowest of his career as a starter. Rodgers also has had the ball five times with a chance to lead the Jets to a victory in their final possession. They’re 0-5 in those situations. Injuries CB Sauce Gardner (hamstring) and RT Morgan Moses (shoulder) left the game with injuries and Ulbrich had no immediate updates on either. ... LB C.J. Mosley is getting closer to returning from the herniated disk in his neck that has sidelined him for five games. Key number 12 — That’s how many accepted penalties the Jets had against the Seahawks, with four coming on Seattle’s go-ahead touchdown drive. They actually had a fifth after the score for unsportsmanlike conduct, but it was offset by the same call on Seattle. What’s next Rodgers and the Jets look to end their three-game skid when they travel to Miami to face the AFC East rival Dolphins next Sunday. ___ AP NFL: https://apnews.com/hub/NFLVikings will host Vanden on Saturday night in north state title game

Don't worry, it's made with micro-fine cleansers, polishing agents, and a polymer for a pro-level shine at the price of your morning coffee order. Promising review: "I worked several years in a fine jewelry store that sold this product. We used the Dazzle Stik from time to time to add a quick shine to merchandise that was just tried on and on days our jeweler was not there to professionally clean items. I was always impressed with the instant shine the diamond stick provided. The brush tip is very helpful for getting under the stones and in the setting where gunk builds up reducing that brilliant shine. I recently got engaged and immediately purchased a Diamond Dazzle Stik of my own. It's the perfect way to quickly give my ring some shine before leaving the house. You simply brush, rinse, dry and go. An ingenious pair of *claw* gardening gloves to help 'em dig a bit more efficiently. But only after they've chased you around the house while wearing them. Promising review: "These are a game changer for gardening and the most brilliant invention ever! I love that the thumb doesn’t have a claw because I can still keep these on and pull off dead leaves. It also makes removing the plant from its planter to put in the ground easier with no thumb claw. The plastic tips are comfortable and easy to maneuver. They make digging a breeze. These pointy tips also help in pulling off dead leaves/limbs from thicker plants/bushes. My claws have yet to show signs of separation between the hard plastic tips and the rubbery fabric of the glove. So I’d absolutely say the durability surpasses most expectations. I absolutely love these gloves so much that I may even use them for doing dishes. Those claws could so easily scrape off that gunk that’s shellacked on to the dishes your teenager has stashed in their room. " — Shopaddict Get it from Amazon for $7.95+ (available in two colors and as a pack of two). 38. A six-pack of "sprout" bookmarks will keep their place(s) in the books they just got for the holidays that they're reading all at once. Promising review: "I gave these out as a gift for one of the book clubs I’m in, and they all LOVED them! I love them because they’re bendy but stiff enough to stay between the pages, if I need to put my book down quickly, it’s easy to just throw the little leaf in. It’s perfect🍃😍" — Shannon White Bear Get a six-pack from Amazon for $7.99 . 39. A set of book-shaped sponges can YES be a HINT that they could lend a hand in washing the cookie sheets later. But also, how cute! Promising review: "These sponges are adorable!! I've gotten so many compliments on them from friends and family. They're bright and look great along my sink. I haven't used them yet because I don't want to ruin them but they look like decent sponges. They're so pretty though you probably won't want to use them either! They would make a great housewarming gift!! " — EC Get a set of three from Amazon for $10 . 40. A roll-on migraine stick for anyone who's particularly headache-prone. This is small enough to keep in their pocket, bag, car, or even desk drawer for when they need it. It's made of peppermint, spearmint, and lavender oils to help deliver some cooling relief in their time of need. They just roll this stick on the back on their neck, forehead, and temples for some relief from the most annoying head pain. And don't worry about residue; the stick rolls on clear and won't leave a greasy shine. Promising review: "This stuff is my go-to fix when I feel a migraine coming on. I suffer from sinus headaches and migraines usually once or twice a week. This product I put on each temple, under my nose and on my wrists when I feel the pressure starting and it cuts the pain to a minimum. It seems to stop the worst pain before it has a chance to start. Thank you for a great product! I will buy again and again!" — Brenton1985 Get it from Amazon for $12.95 . Check out our full Migrastil Migraine Stick review for more deets! 41. A pair of ceiling fan charms to help finally settle the (mostly) internal debate of which pull string is which. They're also great if they have trouble reaching the pull strings! Promising review: "This is the definition of 'product you didn't know you needed because you didn't know it existed.' I was FOREVER pulling the wrong chain on our bedroom ceiling fan. (Want the light off? Oh no...now the fan's on high. Need to change the fan speed? Eek...now you're in the dark.) They're much better quality than I expected. They're actually quite heavy-duty pull chains, and they add a bit of fun to the decor." — LHD Get them from Amazon for $5.88+ (available in three colors and two sizes). 42. An ingenious sandwich cutter and sealer if they yearn for Uncrustables but are trying to stick to a budget. With these, they can whip 'em up and freeze them as quite possibly the best version of meal prep EVER. Promising review: " These have been a GAME CHANGER in this house!! My son has always begged me for Uncrustables but my wallet didn’t agree with them. I LOVE being able to make them at home and customize them to exactly what they would like them filled with! I make two weeks' worth of sandwiches at a time and store them in sandwich bags in the freezer so in the morning during the school year we can just grab and go! Love them!" — Katherine Smaczniak Get it from Amazon for $16.97 . 43. Schmicko Melbourne Expands Premium Mobile Car Care Services Across Greater MelbournePostmaster General Louis DeJoy covered his ears when faced with criticism from Rep. Rich McCormick (R-GA) over his handling of the U.S. Postal Service , a move the Republican mocked and emphasized after it happened. DeJoy was testifying before the House Oversight and Accountability Committee when McCormick asked him “some very tough questions,” specifically over the USPS’s decline in efficiency delivering mail . McCormick cited how he himself had experienced difficulty in his letters getting delivered under DeJoy’s watch and detailed how businesses are now choosing not to use USPS. “I don’t understand why you give yourself an A grade, as you just stated when it comes to the delivery,” McCormick said . The lawmaker argued that DeJoy could not give himself an A grade when looking at his record, to which DeJoy claimed, “I just did.” This prompted McCormick to state that DeJoy is “graded by the United States people” who choose not to use USPS anymore, with DeJoy claiming that “the same stuff happened” before he became postmaster general and covering his ears as McCormick continued talking. "I hope you got that on camera,” McCormick said. “This is the response that the postmaster just gave Congress when he doesn't like what he hears. Literally covered his ears and gave himself the grade of A." . @RepMcCormick : "I hope you got that on camera. Earlier this month, USPS suggested states change their election deadlines after 150,630 ballots went to voters too close to deadlines to be counted . Out of the 3.37 billion pieces of political mail and election mail from 2024, more than 97% of ballots got to local election officials in fewer than three days.Arkansas visits skidding Miami in battle of veteran coachesBEIRUT (AP) — Insurgents' stunning march across Syria accelerated Saturday with news that they had reached the gates of the capital and that government forces had abandoned the central city of Homs. The government was forced to deny rumors that President Bashar Assad had fled the country. The loss of Homs is a potentially crippling blow for Assad. It stands at an important intersection between Damascus, the capital, and Syria’s coastal provinces of Latakia and Tartus — the Syrian leader’s base of support and home to a Russian strategic naval base. The pro-government Sham FM news outlet reported that government forces took positions outside Syria’s third-largest city, without elaborating. Rami Abdurrahman who heads the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, said Syrian troops and members of different security agencies have withdrawn from the city, adding that rebels have entered parts of it. The insurgency announced later Saturday that it had taken over Homs. The city's capture is a major victory for the rebels, who have already seized the cities of Aleppo and Hama , as well as large parts of the south, in a lightning offensive that began Nov. 27. Analysts said rebel control of Homs would be a game-changer. The rebels' moves around Damascus, reported by the monitor and a rebel commander, came after the Syrian army withdrew from much of southern part of the country, leaving more areas, including several provincial capitals, under the control of opposition fighters. For the first time in the country’s long-running civil war, the government now has control of only three of 14 provincial capitals: Damascus, Latakia and Tartus. The advances in the past week were among the largest in recent years by opposition factions, led by a group that has its origins in al-Qaida and is considered a terrorist organization by the U.S. and the United Nations. In their push to overthrow Assad's government, the insurgents, led by the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham group, or HTS, have met little resistance from the Syrian army. The rapid rebel gains, coupled with the lack of support from Assad's erstwhile allies, posed the most serious threat to his rule since the start of the war. The U.N.’s special envoy for Syria, Geir Pedersen, on Saturday called for urgent talks in Geneva to ensure an “orderly political transition.” Speaking to reporters at the annual Doha Forum in Qatar, he said the situation in Syria was changing by the minute. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, whose country is Assad's chief international backer, said he feels “sorry for the Syrian people.” In Damascus, people rushed to stock up on supplies. Thousands went to Syria's border with Lebanon, trying to leave the country. Many shops in the capital were shuttered, a resident told The Associated Press, and those still open ran out of staples such as sugar. Some were selling items at three times the normal price. “The situation is very strange. We are not used to that,” the resident said, insisting on anonymity, fearing retributions. “People are worried whether there will be a battle (in Damascus) or not.” It was the first time that opposition forces reached the outskirts of Damascus since 2018, when Syrian troops recaptured the area following a yearslong siege. The U.N. said it was moving noncritical staff outside the country as a precaution. Syria’s state media denied social media rumors that Assad left the country, saying he is performing his duties in Damascus. He has had little, if any, help from his allies. Russia, is busy with its war in Ukraine . Lebanon’s Hezbollah, which at one point sent thousands of fighters to shore up Assad's forces, has been weakened by a yearlong conflict with Israel. Iran has seen its proxies across the region degraded by regular Israeli airstrikes. U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on Saturday posted on social media that that the United States should avoid engaging militarily in Syria. Pedersen said a date for talks in Geneva on the implementation a U.N. resolution, adopted in 2015, and calling for a Syrian-led political process, would be announced later. The resolution calls for the establishment of a transitional governing body, followed by the drafting of a new constitution and ending with U.N.-supervised elections. Later Saturday, foreign ministers and senior diplomats from eight key countries, including Saudi Arabia, Russia, Egypt, Turkey and Iran, along with Pederson, gathered on the sidelines of the Doha Summit to discuss the situation in Syria. In a statement issued late Saturday, the participants affirmed their support for a political solution to the Syrian crisis “that would lead to the end of military activity and protect civilians.” They also agreed on the importance of strengthening international efforts to increase aid to the Syrian people. Rami Abdurrahman, who heads the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, an opposition war monitor, said insurgents were in the Damascus suburbs of Maadamiyah, Jaramana and Daraya. Opposition fighters were marching toward the Damascus suburb of Harasta, he added. A commander with the insurgents, Hassan Abdul-Ghani, posted on the Telegram messaging app that opposition forces had begun the “final stage” of their offensive by encircling Damascus. HTS controls much of northwest Syria and in 2017 set up a “salvation government” to run day-to-day affairs in the region. In recent years, HTS leader Abu Mohammed al-Golani has sought to remake the group’s image, cutting ties with al-Qaida, ditching hard-line officials and vowing to embrace pluralism and religious tolerance. The shock offensive began Nov. 27, during which gunmen captured the northern city of Aleppo, Syria’s largest, and the central city of Hama , the country’s fourth largest city. Opposition activists said Saturday that a day earlier, insurgents entered Palmyra, which is home to invaluable archaeological sites had been in government hands since being taken from the Islamic State group in 2017. To the south, Syrian troops left much of the province of Quneitra including the main Baath City, activists said. Syrian Observatory said government troops have withdrawn from much of the two southern provinces. The Syrian army said in a statement that it carried out redeployment and repositioning in Sweida and Daraa after its checkpoints came under attack by “terrorists." The army said it was setting up a “strong and coherent defensive and security belt in the area,” apparently to defend Damascus from the south. The Syrian government has referred to opposition gunmen as terrorists since conflict broke out in March 2011. The foreign ministers of Iran, Russia and Turkey, meeting in Qatar, called for an end to the hostilities. Turkey is a main backer of the rebels. Qatar's top diplomat, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, criticized Assad for failing to take advantage of the lull in fighting in recent years to address the country’s underlying problems. “Assad didn’t seize this opportunity to start engaging and restoring his relationship with his people,” he said. Sheikh Mohammed said he was surprised by how quickly the rebels have advanced and said there is a real threat to Syria’s “territorial integrity.” He said the war could “damage and destroy what is left if there is no sense of urgency” to start a political process. Karam reported from London. Associated Press writers Albert Aji in Damascus, Syria; Qassim Abdul-Zahra in Baghdad; Josef Federman and Victoria Eastwood in Doha, Qatar; and Ellen Knickmeyer in Washington contributed to this report.
