The car plunged into the river, killing all three occupants instantly. The victims were identified as Vivek, Kaushal Kumar, who were brothers, and their friend. Police managed to retrieve the vehicle and recover the bodies Upon receiving information, police teams from Faridpur in Bareilly and Dataganj in Badaun, along with local authorities, rushed to the scene.
