Marcus Rashford is closer than ever to an exit from his boyhood club, Manchester United , but former goalkeeper, Ben Foster, has claimed that he wouldn't even value the forward at a measly £10 million. Rashford was excluded from the Manchester United squad to face Wolves, and this was the fourth consecutive match in which Ruben Amorim had taken such a decision. After his shock interview last week in which he revealed his intentions for a "new challenge", a plethora of clubs have been linked with his signature ahead of the January transfer window. However, a hefty question mark remains over his off-pitch attitude and commitment, which is a key reason behind Foster's slamming critiques. Foster Questioned Rashford's Consistency and Commitment Speaking via the Cycling GK podcast, Foster claimed Rashford's inconsistency has ultimately damaged his value on the market , as has with his other drawbacks. He said: "There's so many people that talk about him that say 'on his day, on his day'. His day is once every 10 games. Genuinely, it's once every 10 games and you can't have a luxury player in the modern game that will give you one game out of 10, it's as simple as that. "Coupled with fact that he gets so much reputation and baggage and everything that comes with it, I don't think Mikel Arteta wants that anywhere near that Arsenal . "I think it'll be an MLS club or something. It's going to have to be a massive wage cut." Indeed, the Gunners are reportedly in the market for a new forward, and have outlined a number of targets, including Inter Milan's Marcus Thuram . However, Arteta may avoid turning to Manchester United for business, considering Rashford's off-pitch issues, which Foster doesn't think he can recover from: "Once that fire goes, can you get that back? It has to come from him. I don't think he can get it back. "Again, you're talking about money which does really ruin everything lads. Once people have that massive contract and they've got that five years in the bank and they've got everything they'll ever need for the rest of their life, that takes it away (the fire)." "They were talking £40m you know as well. Even 10, I ain't paying £10m... because of everything." Manchester United have conceded 10 goals from set-pieces this season.NEW DELHI: Ousted Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s son and adviser on Tuesday described allegations of corruption involving the family in the 2015 awarding of a $12.65 billion nuclear power contract as “completely bogus” and a “smear campaign”. Bangladesh’s Anti Corruption Commission said on Monday it had launched an enquiry into allegations of corruption, embezzlement and money laundering in the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant project, backed by Russia’s state-owned Rosatom. A deal for two power plants, each with a capacity of 1,200 megawatts, was signed in 2015. The commission has alleged that there were financial irregularities worth about $5 billion involving Hasina, her son Sajeeb Wazed and her niece and British treasury minister Tulip Siddiq, through offshore accounts. Siddiq and Rosatom did not respond to Reuters requests for comment. A spokesperson for British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said Siddiq had denied any involvement in the claims and that he had confidence in her. Siddiq would continue in her role, the spokesperson added. In August, Bangladeshi media quoted Rosatam as rejecting an earlier media allegation of corruption, saying it was “committed to transparent working practices, strict anti-corruption policies, and openness in all procurement processes”. Bangladesh protesters enter TV station owners, journalists sacked Wazed, speaking on behalf of the family, said they were the targets of a political witch hunt in Bangladesh. “These are completely bogus allegations and a smear campaign. My family nor I have ever been involved or taken any money from any government projects,” he told Reuters from Washington, where he lives. “It is not possible to siphon off billions from a $10 billion project. We also don’t have any offshore accounts. I have been living in the U.S. for 30 years, my aunt and cousins in the UK for a similar amount of time. We obviously have accounts here, but none of us have ever seen that kind of money.” Reuters could not contact Hasina, who has not been seen in public since fleeing to New Delhi in early August following a deadly uprising against her in Bangladesh. Since then, an interim government has been running the country. The government in Dhaka said on Monday it had asked India to send Hasina back. New Delhi has confirmed the request but declined further comment. Wazeb said the family had not made a decision on Hasina’s return to Bangladesh and that New Delhi had not asked her to seek asylum elsewhere.Neeri advocates for global wastewater watch for coronaviruses

THREE FAR-RIGHT political parties and some independent candidates have joined forces to create a new alliance ahead of the general election. The National Alliance consists of the National Party, Ireland First and The Irish People, as well as a number of independents. The Irish Freedom Party is not part of the alliance. Supporters are being encouraged to transfer their votes among members in the election, in a bid to elect Ireland’s first far-right TD. The parties involved share extreme anti-immigration and anti-abortion views. A statement on says the alliance’s mission is “to uphold the principles that put the Irish people and their needs first, standing firm in the battle between globalism and nationalism”. The website also promotes the ‘Great Replacement’ conspiracy theory (more on that below). The alliance is led by councillor Patrick Quinlan, deputy leader of the National Party; Derek Blighe, president of Ireland First; and Anthony (AJ) Cahill of The Irish People. Quinlan was elected to Fingal County Council in June, but Blighe and Cahill were unsuccessful in their efforts to get elected earlier this year. Figures compiled by found that more than for far-right parties or as far-right independents in the local elections in June. Of these, five were elected: All five of the far-right councillors elected in June are running in the general election. The National Alliance was formed after the local elections, in advance of the general election. Quinlan is the only one of the five currently listed as a member of the alliance but more names are due to be added soon, according to the website. Quinlan is running for election in ; Pepper is running in ; Steenson in ; McDonnell in and Moore in . The names are well-known in far-right circles, and Pepper and Steenson are regular faces at anti-immigration rallies. Blighe and Cahill are running under the National Alliance banner – in and respectively. Earlier this month, Blighe was found guilty of outside a building that was being prepared as accommodation for asylum seekers. Fermoy District Court heard that Blighe had eight previous convictions including one for public order. Judge Colm Roberts ordered Blighe to make a donation to the Irish Refugee Council. McDonnell is perhaps best known for comments he made in the run-up to the local elections in June, when he said Irish people were in danger of dying out because . “Our women are only breeding 1.5 or 1.6 children. That’s shocking for an Irish woman. We’ve great women and we want them breeding,” he said. McDonnell later defended the comments, saying he used the word ‘breed’ because he’s . Phrases on the National Alliance’s website include: ‘House the Irish not the world’; ‘Life is Sacred, Life is a Gift. We are 100% Pro-Life’; and ‘End the plantation’. The website is also critical of certain climate change policies, referring to “climate alarmism” and the “Corporate Green Money-Agenda”. The ‘end the plantation’ phrase refers to the ‘Great Replacement’ conspiracy that has gained traction in far-right circles in recent years. The theory, , posits that the native (white) people of Europe are being replaced by non-white immigrants, often Arab or African people, and that this is orchestrated by a group of powerful, clandestine elites. Those who subscribe to the theory see immigrants and their children as an existential threat to the native populations of their adopted home countries. References to the theory appear on the election leaflets, posters and websites of some far-right candidates including members of the National Alliance. The holidays are upon us and part of spending time with family means playing games, whether it's the classic relationship ruiner of Monopoly or a well-loved deck of cards.
