TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — The FBI announced in a press release that a man from Tucson was arrested for producing child sexual abuse material and cyberstalking offenses in connection with online violent terror networks. Baron Martin, 20, of Tucson, Arizona, was arrested on December 11. Martin was connected to terror networks known as 764 and CVLT. The FBI alleges that 764 is a network of violent extremists who engage in criminal conduct within the United States and abroad. "Those involved with the 764 network, individually and as a network, methodically target vulnerable, underage populations across the United States and the globe by using known online social media communications platforms," the FBI said. Martin used the social media platform Discord to communicate with two female victims, a 16-year-old and a 13-year-old. He would threaten each of them until they physically hurt, cut, or mutilate themselves while recording. Martin received videos from the victims and sent them to other users. Martin also cyberstalked another 13-year-old on Discord, threatening to kill her grandmother. The FBI says that if Martin is convicted, he faces up to 30 years in prison for producing child abuse material and up to 10 years in prison for cyberstalking when the victim is a minor and no bodily injury resulted from the conduct. “The details in this case are simply horrific as the defendant allegedly coerced children to harm themselves multiple times,” said Executive Assistant Director Robert Wells of the FBI’s National Security Branch.

Here are 25 predictions for 2025. 1) President Trump, having run out of relatives to appoint to high office, will leave politics to spend less time with his family. 2) Raygun will continue to be the biggest source of family arguments since the COVID mandates, with the only allowed views being “angel” or “devil”. 3) Prince Andrew, revealed as a close contact of both a convicted paedophile and an alleged Chinese spy, will admit that he’s in the pay of the Australian Republican movement, as it’s the only way to explain the last five years. Reviving past fashion is going to become more difficult in 2025. 4) Reviving the fashion and music of past decades will become more difficult, on account that every period has been used up due to a collective failure to have any new ideas. By February 2025, we’ll be bringing back the “looks and sounds of 2024”. By March, we’ll be bringing back the “looks and sounds of February”. By April 20, we’ll be bringing back the “looks and sounds of April 3.” 5) Gina Rinehart will buy a huge new sheep farm but keep the traditional name: “Western Australia.” 6) Peter Dutton will find himself so addicted to negativity he will find himself unable to accept any view put by the government - angrily dismissing the observations that “the sky is blue”, “water is wet”, and “Australia, by and large, is a pretty good place to live.” Toto is set for a name change! When asked, “Why meet with a deranged dictator with his finger on the nuclear button?” Kim will say: “Look, it’s only a meeting”. 12) Victoria will fall further from an AAA credit rating, with its score now reduced to “Aargh”. 13) Artificial intelligence will become sufficiently sophisticated that it finally wakes up to its own flaws, warning users that “the whole thing is a poor substitute for actual human thought”. 14) As the world’s concentration span continues to dip, TikTok videos will become increasingly short. By mid-year, the average video will be just two seconds long; by November, every video will be a .003-second subliminal advertisement for Temu. AI will see itself out. 15) Apple will continue to issue new versions of its products, each one representing an even smaller improvement on the last. This will not stop people queuing through the night to buy them. 16) Elon Musk will become so extreme and so powerful even Donald Trump will cut all ties. Loading 17) Social media sites will continue to proliferate and become increasingly targeted as to age, education and politics until everyone has their own site, to which they – and only they - will be allowed to post, leading to a marvellous feeling since you always agree with what’s been said. 18) Putin will fall from power. (True. You watch.) 19) The self-checkout machines at Colesworth will become self-aware and take action against the profiteering of the supermarkets by giving away everything for free. This, and only this, will force Colesworth to re-employ some staff. 20) Coffee orders will become so long-winded – “a weak, soy macchiato but with hotter than normal soy thanks” – it will become impossible for the typical worker to fulfil any other task during their workday save for the consumption of beverages. 21) As the unemployment rate rises, bosses will ban working from home, leading to massive congestion on Sydney roads, with workers forced to abandon their cars in the nearest car park. The carpark, however, will retain its traditional name: the M5. 22) The last butcher, baker and greengrocer will close their doors, leaving Sydney with 10,563 Thai massage joints, 20,495 nail salons, and about a million gyms, all of them empty. 23) Hollywood will collapse after executives realise they have run out of Marvel comics to remake. 24) Politics, here and around the world, will become ever-more depressing, however... 25) We will survive. Trump backs dockworkers' fight against automation. He risks price hikes, experts sayGarrett Wilson clearly isn't happy. And his future with the New York Jets seems murkier than ever. The star wide receiver wants to win more than anything, but three losing seasons to start his NFL career have taken their toll. Wilson has been an extremely bright spot for the Jets during that span, setting team receiving records and establishing himself as one of the top players in the NFL at his position. He's the fourth-most targeted player in the league this season. But he still believes he could do more — and that he can help the Jets (4-11) win. Wilson had six catches for 54 yards on Sunday in New York's 19-9 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Four of his seven targets came during the Jets' final drive. Davante Adams had 13 targets and clearly has been the favorite target of Aaron Rodgers — not surprising since they played together eight years in Green Bay. But Wilson has seemed almost an afterthought lately. "I don't know, to be honest with you, man," Wilson said after the game when asked why he wasn't more involved in the offense. "I've just got to go out and put my best foot forward and hope that things fall my way. I'd love to be involved, love to make an impact on the game, but if people see it differently, then it's out of my control. “So, just trying to do what I can do.” That came a few days after Wilson was noncommittal on whether he can see himself staying with the Jets long term if they offer him a contract extension after the season. He had a similar response after the game. “At the end of the day, we've got to find ways to get Garrett the ball more often,” interim coach Jeff Ulbrich said Monday. “He’s one of the best players on our team, if not one of the best players in this league, especially at his position, so the progression for a lot of different reasons from a coverage standpoint took (Rodgers) off Garrett, but at the same time, we've got to find ways to get him the ball, for sure.” Wilson is due for an extension after this season, but the Jets have control over his contract through the 2027 season. There are rumblings that Wilson, who ranks among the league leaders with 90 receptions and 987 yards receiving, could seek a trade. The Jets' next general manager and coach will have to make decisions on the futures of several players, including Rodgers, but Wilson also will be a priority in the team's offseason conversations. “If you weren’t frustrated, I think that would bother me to an extent,” Ulbrich said. “I think he’s just one of those ultimate competitors that wants the ball, not for selfish reasons. Just from the standpoint he knows he can help our team win if he does have the ball in his hands.” What’s working Fast starts. The Jets have scored touchdowns on their opening possession in each of their last two games after previously not doing so all season. What needs help With the team out of the playoff hunt, Ulbrich was aggressive. The Jets went for it on fourth down five times against the Rams and converted just twice. Two of the stops led to points for Los Angeles. After Breece Hall was stuffed on fourth-and-1 at the Jets 33 in the second quarter, the Rams kicked a field goal to tie it. On their first possession of the second half, the Jets went for it on a fourth-and-4 from the Rams 13 instead of kicking a field goal. But Rodgers' fade pass to Adams was incomplete, ending a 14-play, 78-yard drive. Los Angeles followed by kicking another tying field goal. Stock up CB D.J. Reed. The veteran defensive back has arguably been the Jets' best cornerback this season. Reed is scheduled to be a free agent during the coming offseason and could be in for a big payday. Whether to bring him back will be a major topic of conversation for the Jets' new regime. Stock down K Anders Carlson. He briefly provided some stability as the Jets' fourth kicker this season but has struggled lately. Carlson missed an extra point, his second of the season, and was wide right on a late 49-yard field goal try that would've made it a one-score game and given the Jets a chance at a comeback attempt against the Rams. Ulbrich said there's a chance there could be another change this week. Injuries Rookie LT Olu Fashanu is dealing with a foot injury. The first-round pick was seen on crutches after the game, but Ulbrich said Fashanu was still getting tests done to determine the severity of the injury. ... DT Quinnen Williams was inactive with a hamstring injury. He tested it before the game and was scratched. Ulbrich said there's a chance he'll play this week. ... CB Sauce Gardner (hamstring) and S Tony Adams (ankle) left the game with injuries. Key number 0 — The Jets scored 9 points and had no punts in the loss to Los Angeles. They joined the 1991 Colts — a 16-7 loss to the Patriots in the season opener — as the only teams in the Super Bowl era to score fewer than 10 points and not punt. What’s next The Jets travel for their last road game of the season to Buffalo, where they'll take on the AFC East rival Bills. Expert picks & predictions for Friday Grizzlies vs. Pelicans game NBC Sports Bet Best Bet Vaughn Dalzell (@VmoneySports) expects Memphis to start slow: Grizzlies 1Q Team Total Under 30.5 (-113) “In all seven of the Pelicans back-to-backs this season, none of their opponents have scored more than 30 first quarter points on New Orleans. Memphis played last night at home and erupted for 155 points on Toronto, but now go to New Orleans on no rest, along with the Pelicans who lost last night in Houston. I see a slow first quarter between two teams with no rest and that traveled.” Please bet responsibly. Republican California Assemblyman Bill Essayli submitted an ethics complaint letter on Dec. 12 asking the Legislature to investigate alleged standards of conduct violations related to a federal bribery plea agreement unsealed earlier this month. “Although the plea agreement does not specifically name the individual legislator, there is sufficient information contained within the record to warrant an immediate investigation by the Assembly and Senate Ethics Committees to identify the person described in the plea agreement, and to consider any and all appropriate disciplinary action.” Under the alleged scheme, a person identified in the agreement as Person 19 would be hired as a consultant and receive $40,000, and Person 20 would receive $200,000. While a contract was reportedly signed, the money was not delivered. According to the plea deal, Person 20, on two separate occasions, solicited $15,000 from Tafoya, once in 2017 and again after winning the primary in June 2018. “Starting in 2017 and ending in November 2018, Person 20 was running for State elected office. To raise campaign funds, Person 20 asked defendant on two occasions to provide him/her $15,000 in cash that Person 20 could then funnel to other individuals to make conduit contributions to his/her campaign,” the plea deal states. The city attorney allegedly paid the bribes with cash withdrawn from his bank, because he feared that the individual could remove him from his appointed position, and he believed that if elected, the person would provide him with more opportunities, according to the plea agreement. Person 20 allegedly wanted the money to fund contributions that would make it appear the individual’s campaign had support among the community. “I’m not really shocked at the allegations, I’m shocked there haven’t been more criminal investigations,” Essayli, an attorney and former federal prosecutor, told The Epoch Times on Dec. 12. “There is rampant corruption taking place in our state capital.” He said more attention should be paid to state representatives and noted a lack of oversight for cannabis permitting procedures and an abundance of cash in the industry that he alleged fueled political malfeasance at local levels. The Senate and Assembly’s Legislative Ethics Committees are tasked with considering all complaints, investigating if evidence suggests violations of conduct rules have occurred, and recommending disciplinary action, if appropriate. With the passage of Proposition 64 in 2016 legalizing recreational cannabis, businesses have competed for licensing opportunities across the state. The two men pleaded not guilty after being arrested in September 2023 and charged with one count each of bribery and conspiracy and eight counts of wire fraud.Foot Locker ( NYSE:FL – Get Free Report ) had its price target lowered by investment analysts at The Goldman Sachs Group from $25.00 to $22.00 in a report released on Thursday, Benzinga reports.
