No one was physically injured in the incident. A car was later located in the nearby suburb of Gilston, with a Queensland Police spokesman confirming officers were searching surrounding bushland. On social media, Gilston residents said they have been told by police to “stay inside,” and reported seeing a large police precence with officers dressed in camo gear and bulletproof vests.
