Invite the philosophers, theologians, mothers and doctors. It is 2025 AD, we can do this. The unfortunate reality is that questions about human life have been coopted for political purposes. We've been divided up against our will. Yet, these are vital questions to answer to know how to navigate our modern life together. Do not let politics rip the fabric of our common humanity. Let's then talk about the children and youth among us. How are we doing there? What about no smartphones before high school, no social media before 16, phone-free schools, and more unsupervised play and childhood independence? As we remember Holy Innocents today, reflect on how we treat our children, youth, and most vulnerable populations as a society and what that says about our future and well-being.
